The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Youth Leader, Dayo Israel has announced plans to honour young progressive leaders through the maiden edition of the Progressive Young Leaders Award, 2022 set to take place in November in Abuja.

According to Israel the people targeted are the young people who have laboured for the APC, its government, the nation and have remained committed even though they feel neglected, forgotten and unrewarded, promising that respite has come for them.

“We are coming for you. We will honour you in our own little way and put your name in the pride of the place that you deserve. The website for nomination will be announced soon,” Dayo Israel wrote

The 2022 edition of the award will be stage before the 2023 general elections, it aimed at providing strong encouragement for influential and effective young leaders and mobilisers of the party to escalate efforts to ensure a total and complete victory for the APC and its presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu at the polls.

“The award ceremony is established to celebrate young progressives who despite the challenges imposed on them, have committed themselves to be responsible to our great party, the APC, through their contributions to our country Nigeria, government and the upcoming elections especially amongst young people by participating in various voluntary and selfless services to our great party” , Israel said.
