The Zamfara State Government is to spend N280 million for this year’s annual Ramadan Feeding programme, the State Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Alhaji  Abdullahi Maharazu Talata Mafara, has said.

The Commissioner made the disclosure while flagging off the feeding programme at one of the designated centre in Gusau, saying the Ramadan feeding programme is one of the top priority of the State government.

Maharazu, therefore, warned cooks, supervisors and distributors against sabotage, saying that a high-powered  committee has been to monitor the programmes.

He maintained that the committee would not hesitate to cancel the contract of any cook or distributor found to be undermining the programme.
