Corps members serving in Kaura Namoda town of Zamfara State are currently protesting the detention of one of them by the police.
The detention of the corps member, it was gathered, was on the orders of a rich man because he (the corpoer) punished his ward.
Michael, who is serving at Nasara Standard Academy in Kauwas was, on Tuesday, brutalised, manhandled and reduced to nothingness, according to reports.
Michael was said to have punished a student who happens to be a rich man’s ward by simply asking him to go on his knees.
Angered by the action of Michael, the rich man ordered policemen to get the corper arrested, who punched and subjected him to dehumanising situation.
