Winners emerge in Best Model Nigeria contest

Winners have emerged in this year’s edition of Best Model Nigeria held on October 8 at Four Points by Sheraton Hotel, Lekki, Lagos.
They are Miss Agu Chinonso Nneze Lucy, who emerged over all winner, Face of the World Nigeria 2017 and will represent the country at the Face of the World pageant taking place at United Kingdom in 2018, Michael Okorodudu Ajose, who emerged Best Model Nigeria 2017 (male category). He will represent Nigeria at Best Model of the World in Paris, France and Kadiri Adepeju Tejumola, Best Model Nigeria 2017 (female category). She will represent Nigeria at Best Model of the World in Paris, France.
The event was well attended by fashion icons, corporate Nigeria and government officials, who came to witness the making of history in the fashion industry in Nigeria.
The organisers of the event, Mr. Emmanuel Okitiakpe and Mrs. Augustina  Okitiakpe of Modelslink International were full of gratitude to guests who made time to attend the show.
Anchored by the duo of MC Abbey and Vera Onaro, the event also included performances by some of the finest in the music and comedy industry including Obelife, AK Fly, Modana, T-Play and Nedro.
Guests that graced the show included Mrs. Gloria Dafeta, who represented and received award on behalf of the Director General, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency Nigeria (SMEDAN), Dr. Dikko Umaru Radda; Best Model of the World, Joy Ejiro Akpokiniove; President, Nigerian Vietnam Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Mr. Oye Akinsemoyin, Dr. Austin Izagbo, Frank Osodi and Uche Naji.
Past winners of Best Model Nigeria and Face of the World also graced the event. They are Adedamola Cruz, Shegun Oyeyemi, Elvis Ikpa, Myever Akinleye, Stephanie Cole, Tarere Obaigbo, and Faith Nwihim.
