THERE was no victory dance for Heartland FC of Owerri yesterday at the Dan Ayiam Stadium as she was forced to a barren draw by visiting Wikki Tourists of Bauchi, even as MFM had her fire doused by merciless Riv­ers United in Port Har­court.

The Bauchi side tena­ciously hold on to the Ni­geria Professional League zenith with 40 points from 21 matches, same as Rivers United, after the 4-1 thrashing of MFM FC yesterday. Rangers International of Enugu and Enyimba back slided from their title chase fol­lowing their away losses to Plateau United and Shooting Stars respec­tively.
