Following its screening to a select group of media men last Friday at IMAX Cinemas, Lekki, Lagos, the third installment of Matt Reeves’ blockbuster, War for the Planet of the Apes hits cinemas across the country today, Friday July 14.
The film tells how Caesar and his apes return two years after the events of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, as they are forced into a deadly conflict with an army of humans led by a ruthless Colonel.
After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and begins his quest to avenge his kind. Eventually, Caesar and the Colonel come face to face in an epic battle that will determine the fate of both species and the future of the planet.
