A-list merchants of jokes drawn from Nigeria and Uganda have promised fun seekers in Ikeja, Lagos State, and environs, unlimited fun today, as the flagship comedy show of the grandmasters of data, Globacom, Glo Laffta Fest, holds at 10 Degrees Event Centre, Billingways, Oregun, Ikeja at 4.00 p.m.

  Celebrated comic stars who have been on the Glo Laffta Fest train include Salvador, the Ugandan; Bovi Ugboma, I Go Dye, Acapella, De Don, Seyi Law, Bash, Senator, Dan D’Humorous, Gordons, Kenny Blaq, and Still Ringing.

  One of the Ikeja show headliners, Dan D’Humorous said: “Come Sunday, the people of Lagos, especially the good people of Ikeja should expect nothing but the best from the wolf himself. It will be premium comedy in an unlimited fashion, Glo Style.”

  On his part, the hugely talented stand-up comic, Acapella said: “It’s going to be an unexplainable experience on Sunday.  If you think there’s nothing new under the sun, then come to the Glo Laffta Fest on Sunday in Ikeja. It’s going to be absolutely refreshing.”

  Besides the aforementioned stars, the show will also be graced by some of Nigeria’s best known Nollywood faces, such as the highly revered actress Patience Ozokwor, popularly called Mama G; prolific actress and film producer, Funke Akindele; one of Yoruba film’s most popular actors, Odunlade Adekola and Nollywood living legend, Richard Mofe-Damijo.   The Ikeja edition of the show will be anchored by the duo of Ebube Nwagbo and Uche Jombo, while dignitaries and very important personalities from all walks of life are expected.
