The All Progressives Congress (APC) is a political party that came to power raising hope. Close to five year after its birth, the party has proved that it does not have much to offer. It has left nobody in doubt that it has high capacity for lies, treachery and deception. The party has brought about extreme gnashing of teeth in the country.

The bad ways of the APC is felt more in Rivers State than in any other part of the country. Here, the party, with Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi as leader, has turned politics to a theatre of the absurd, where debauchery rules. In the last one week, APC has proved that it is confused. The APC governorship candidate has legitimacy problem, yet his campaign team continues to stoke controversy.
The other day at Abua/Odual Local Government Area, the motorcade of Cole was involved in an accident, which claimed two lives with several injured. The APC and it’s candidates have tried to change the narratives of the accident.
All well-meaning stakeholders have called on the relevant security agencies to investigate the death of the two innocent women. Surprisingly, since that ugly incident, the police have gone on a silent mode. They have swept the matter under the carpet and Cole as well as APC have continued as if nothing happened.
Again, the APC bad behaviour manifested in Ikwerre Local Government Area where a gathering of PDP members were attacked. It was learnt that two persons were killed during the vicious attack of a PDP gathering at Ipo. Several others were seriously injured in the unwarranted gun attack.
The police confirmed these killings, but nothing has been done. The victims of these bloody attacks have been left to weep without efforts to ensure they get justice.
It is obvious the APC and it’s agents want to intimidate Rivers people. This is an exercise in futility. It will fail. It has failed already. Rivers is totally PDP. The people can never be intimidated by violence. The use of SARS and other security agencies failed to stop the victory of the PDP during the rerun elections in Rivers State. Therefore, this technique by APC in Rivers is unprofitable.
The good news is that Rivers APC confusionists will gather, but the good people of Rivers State will scatter and triumph under the umbrella of the PDP. I have said this countless times: The rescue of Nigeria has been initiated in Rivers State under the leadership of Governor Nyesom Wike. God is in control of the affairs of Rivers state.
