Maybe, you think this title is heretic, and you wonder where this false prophet got that? But, hold it! Indeed, Jesus has many wives and is still marrying more; I am one of them and so are you and the entire church; the bible tells us that much (Ephesians 5:25-27). But only the willing and obedient, who trust in His purifying power, qualify. Yes, every true believer is a bride of Christ, if we remain faithful to the end.
Talking about brides, our world revolves around marriage. Even the bible say that a time is coming when as many as seven women would cling to one man, begging him to be their husband without spending a dime?
Has that time not come? Is it not true that our time is surfeit of women not minding to be collected as articles by men who strut the earth, as if that is no mean achievement? Do we not see the fierce rivalry where women fight to death over ‘their man’? Are we not today witnessing the brazen audacity of the devil, egging his shameless agents on to snatch even a prophet of God from the bosom of his wife and ministry?
The times are truly ominous but how come the noisy feminists neglect to rein in their sisters, who make nothing of women? Where are the mothers when their daughters turn to knickknacks in the hands of degenerate men? How come they ignore their daughters’ outrageous dressing while leaving home, looking like overly garnished monuments in Indian temples? Because the daughters must hustle and lure home long-awaited groom, even if to be an addendum to an elastic homestead?
But does the bible really mean that seven women would cling to one man begging for his attention? Does the bible really give men cause to gloat and indulge in polygamy? Does the bible give men licence to trample upon women and reduce them to lower estate because they can be picked a dozen without sweat? Must women debase themselves and struggle for the love of one man, who draws up a roster for them on the day of his attention?
The answer is emphatic NO; that is not what the bible means. So, what did the bible actually say?
“And in that day, seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, we will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach (Isaiah 4:1).”
Of course, we can see here that a man is involved and seven women would be begging him to marry them while they take care of their own upkeep without encumbering the man. They would be content to bear his name but would bring their own bread and clothing. Really? What sort of marriage would that be? Obviously, something is terribly wrong with that proposition.
However, that man in the picture is no other but Jesus Christ. The seven prospective wives are the different churches. The bread is the Word of God and the apparel talks about the garment of righteousness. Truly, that time when seven women would ask one man to marry them without spending anything is indeed now. This is a time when many churches just want to answer the name but want to do it their own way. They don’t want the Word of God or His garment of righteousness. They want to preach their own words, not the word of God. They want to wear their own clothes, not the garment of righteousness. They preach a different gospel and dress anyhow but are content answering the name “Christians.”
They are not ready for righteousness but happy all the same, occupying front seats and being honoured with high-cymbal titles. They want to build cathedrals for Christ but would not have anything to do with the content and context of the gospel of power. They give fat offerings and heavy tithes, often encouraged and praised by money-crazy clerics, who are uninterested in the salvation of souls and the source of the big donations. Righteousness means right standing with God, but means nothing to the all-comers. They just carouse the klieg lights, dazzling on the pulpit with affected swagger and in affected mannerisms of holiness but are hollow within. Others equally make a public show of their charity, forgetting that righteousness has no bearing to flaunting easy wealth and proceeds of fraud varnished in charity. You cannot buy God with all the gold in the world, for the earth is the Lord’s and all its fullness.
From the day Adam fell in the Garden of Eden, he sold man’s dominion power to the devil. The devil became the god of this world by virtue of the legal transaction or exchange with Adam. God cannot, therefore, do anything for the earth unless somebody asks Him in prayer. God can manifest his omnipotence and glory through the church, if we ask him. And I ask Him on your behalf today to heal the church and flush down the drain all unworthy brides from both the pulpit and the pew.
The devil is doing everything to ensure that the glory of the gospel does not penetrate. That is why many women (churches) have sprung up everywhere, doing it their own way; exercising power without authority. But you can still be a true bride of Christ. You don’t need to bring your own bread, Christ has enough to feed you. You don’t need to bring your own apparel either, Christ can clothe you with His righteousness. Adam and Eve began to clothe themselves only when they lost their glory to the devil and where did that land them? You cannot be called a Christian in name only, but in deed also.
Friends, it is either you are for Christ or you are against Him. There is no middle path. There is much pollution in the world, fast blending with the church. But God is calling the church to separate itself. It is difficult but not impossible. No wonder John Wesley said, God can do nothing for humanity unless someone asks him. You can ask God through prayer. Prayer is power. Someone said little prayer, little power; no prayer, no power; more prayer, more power. So, if you want anything, ask God in prayer, even for change in your estate.
Surely, Jesus has more rooms for more wives in His household. Nonetheless, unless you are ready let Him feed you with His own bread and clothe you in His own apparel, you shall have no portion in this commonwealth of Christ. If any comes, preaching another gospel to suit the age, from such flee for your souls or be damned.
