The Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON) has reaffirmed the certification of Seahorse lubricant as safe for use in Nigeria and other parts of the world.

This statement was made recently during a plant tour organised by the management of SeaHorse lubricants in conjunction with officials of SON led by its Group Head, Chemical Technology, Mr Agboola Afolayan.

During the inspection, which took place at the factory, in Ozubulu, Anambra State, Mr. Agboola, in company of Anambra State co-ordinator SON, Engineer Nwaoma Olujie inspected SeaHorse production facility located in Ozubulu Ekwusigo Local Government Area (LGA) of Anambra State, Nigeria.

Moved by the level of professionalism, discipline and sophistication shown by the management and staff of SeaHorse lubricants in its productions, Afolayan declared that SeaHorse lubricants meet all standards in the area of quality and thus fit for use both for local and international consumption.

Adding that after rigorous testing of the products at the company’s laboratory, the result of the test tallies with other tests already carried out by SON officials in Anambra. He said based on the result of the tests, the product is of high quality and safe for use in the country.

In her verdict, Olujie said SeaHorse has been consistent in the area of quality assurance through regular laboratory check conducted by the company’s Quality Control Manager, Amaobi Emenike.

The exercise was witnessed by a section of the press and captains of industries led by Ekeson Transport boss, Chief Eugene Ojukwu.

While endorsing SeaHorse lubricants, Ojukwu said because of the high standard of the lubricant, his transport fleet has been consistent in use of the product.

While commending members of the public in their steadfastness and belief in SeaHorse brand, MD/ CEO of SeaHorse lubricant, Dr Ebuka Onunkwo , said he was impressed by the result of the test adding that the result of the test only confirms his policy which is 100 per cent honesty.
