Society Lady, Sade Alesh honored with Yeye Gbaderogun of Ijebu Land title

Penultimate weekend, one of Nigeria’s most prominent society matriarchs, Chief (Mrs) Folasade Adunni Risiquat Adesoye (aka Sade Alesh) added another title to her rapidly rising profile of honour. She was installed as the Yeye Gbaderogun of Ijebuland, by HRM, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, Ogbagba 2, the Awujale of Ijebuland and Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland.
Her husband, Balogun Gboyega Adeboye, was also conferred with the Otunba Gbaderogun of Ijebuland.
The colourful ceremony was held at the Awujale’s palace. The dress code of the day was yellow and white.
On the bandstand to entertain the guests were King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, K1 De Ultimate; and Waka Queen, Salawa Abeni.
Sade Alesh is one of the most celebrated society ladies in Nigeria. She owns Jewelry Affairs, which is situated at the Civic Center, Ozumba Mbadiwe Street, Victoria Island. She has been in the jewelry business for over 20 years and was operating from her home, before she opened her store in 2007. And over the years, she has come to win the love and adulation of most society ladies, who patronize her. Beyond her business acumen, Sade is also an embodiment of humility and warmth.
