Praying for the president of one’s country is not a bad idea after all. That’s exactly what a Lagos-based church is currently doing for President Muhammadu Buhari who has just returned from the United Kingdom where he had gone to observe a medical vacation.
Members of Salem Evangelical C&S Church, located an 211, Ikorodu Road, Ilupeju, Lagos, have taken it upon themselves to pray for the full recovery of President Muhammadu Buhari. They have also called on all Nigerians to continue to pray for the president to continue to enjoy perfect health.
As a step in this direction, the church has a big flexi banner hanging on its frontage with a bold inscription that reads thus: “Nigerians let us pray for the quick health recovery of our President Muhammadu Buhari. The Lord will give him strength and bless him with peace. Amen”.
