He stated this during a visit to Yola to assess and follow up on report of the activities of officers and men of the 23 Armoured Brigade, Yola.
Irabor told newsmen that the military has rescued over 20,000 people from the enclaves of the Boko Haram and currently strategising on a daily basis on how to rescue every person held by the insurgents. He assured Nigerians that the military will win the war against insurgency. He dismissed recent reports on Shekau as false and insisted that the military had killed the Boko Haram leader, stressing that the claim on his whereabouts by the terrorist group was false.
