The police in Delta State, on Wednesday, vowed to smoke out the alleged killers of a 300-level student of Mass Communication at Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, Elozino Ogege.

After about five days of intensive search for the 22-year old student who was declared missing last Friday, her decomposing body was found with her breasts and tongue cut-off.

Miss Ogege had in her desire to relocate from her present residence, left in search of a more befitting accommodation but never returned on the fateful day.

Reacting to the gruesome murder, Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr. Muhammad A. Mustafa commiserated with the family of the deceased student, saying that it was a case of suspected ritual murder.

Mr. Mustafa in a statement by the command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Andrew Aniamaka, said no stone will left unturned towards ensuring that all the persons connected to the crime are arrested and prosecuted accordingly.

While noting that some of the major suspects connected to the crime have been arrested and are assisting the police with their investigation, Mustafa called on the members of the public to avail the command with credible information that will lead to the arrest of other actors in the crime.
