The President of the Nigerian Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick has  Re-iterated his support for Ghana’s Kwesi Nyantakyi on the FIFA Executive Council saying he never thought of running for the position before now.
‘’I never contemplated running for the Fifa Council apparently because my brother and colleague Kwesi had mentioned long ago his desire to continue,’’ Amaju Pinnick featured on Football Africa Arena.
There were claims that the 48 year old had or perhaps is on the verge of failing a FIFA integrity test, hence his fear of contesting Kwesi,but he was quick to rubbish the claim and promised to take legal action against such people.
‘’I passed the FIFA integrity test 100% before I was appointed into the Football Organising Committee, i have briefed my lawyer and legal proceedings will begin next week,’’ he fumed.
The Ghana Football Association President, Kwesi Nyantakyi was elected into the FIFA council after beating off competiton from Ahmad of Madagscar and others.
