Over 1000 contestants have been shortlisted for selection to feature in the grand finale of the Queen Moremi pageant.
The Ambassador of Queen Moremi Legacy, Princess Ronke Ademiluyi, spoke with journalists on the upcomh event said: ‘‘All auditions for QMA Nigeria 2017 will take place from Monday October 30 to Wednesday November 1, 2017 at the Kings Palace in Enuwa, Ile Ife, Osun State, Nigeria.’’
Ademiluyi whom is also the founder of Nigeria Fashion Week London and Lagos, added that all registrants were required to come to Ife for a chance to win a N5m investment fund, and also be prepared to spend one day in Ife for the audition that would last one on the date assigned to the person.
This year’s audition would feature a two-hour section on QMA Women Mentorship programme, powered by the House of Oduduwa Foundation in collaboration with the IWS International Women’s Society.
Besides the N5 million investment fund, the winner of the beauty pageant at the grand finale would be an ambassador of Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II the (founder of QMA) as she would accompany the royal father on his trips and events in and outside the country while she is also expected to carry herself with dignity and expose the character and legacies of QMA in both her candour and public outings.
