The wedding bell is about to chime in the household of Otunba Niyi Adebayo, former Ekiti State governor and his adorable wife, Angela as their beloved son, Richard Dotun is set to take a plunge into holy matrimony.
Family sources said Dotun, a lawyer in his early 30s, would be getting married to his long time fiancée, Reenie Young on August 12 when they will have their traditional introduction and engagement in Lagos. This will be followed by a destination white wedding in New York, United States on September 3. Those in the know have squealed that the U.S white wedding of Dotun and Reenie will be carnival-like as the groom parents’ aristocratic backgrounds and vast connections have never been in doubt. This may not be unconnected with the former Ekiti State first family’s presence at many first-rated shindigs in town recently.They are poised to deliver a spectacular nuptial that will see hundreds of family members and powerful friends fly to New York.
Otunba Adebayo, the groom’s dad is the scion of the governor of the old Western Region, late Gen. Robert Adeyinka Adebayo, while his wife, Angela is of the popular Da-Silva family in Lagos. She is a successful corporate lawyer who sits on the board of many blue chip companies including Afriland Properties Plc where she is the Chairman.
