Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Friday held a closed-door meeting with Oyo State governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, at the Governor’s Office in Ibadan for about 30 minutes.

Osinbajo had earlier attended a church service in Ibadan before he visiting the governor’s office.

He was accompanied by the state Commissioner of Police, Mr Abiodun Odude, State Director, Department of State Security, Mr. Abdullahi Kure.
But Osinbajo, after the closed-door meeting, declined interview with journalists, saying he was on a private visit to the governor. Also, Ajimobi declined to speak with journalists on the meeting.

The governor presented a talking drum to the vice president in appreciation of his visit after the closed-door meeting.
Osinbajo later left the governor’s office in company of Ajimobi, commissioner of police and director of DSS for Oyo State Police Command at Eleyele, where sources said he visited some accident victims at the police hospital.
