Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youths have  called  on the  Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to bury their hatchet and embrace peace.
They made this call at the end of the Igbo Summit on restructuring, held in Awka, Anambra State capital.

They called on IPOB to understand that almost all the tribes and regions in Nigeria are speaking in favour of restructuring.

“They should understand that only a few are talking about sovereignty. As of facts, restructuring is the most peaceful and surest tool, and we call on IPOB to embrace it,” they said.

This is contained in a joint statement signed by the National Deputy President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youths Worldwide, Dr. Kingsley Dozie and National Publicity Secretary, Osmond Nkeoma. The joint statement commended Ndigbo for their massive turnout in the just concluded summit on restructuring, against all odds and threats.

The youths assured Ndigbo that today’s Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youths leadership is committed to the general development, progress, and well-being of Ndigbo anywhere they may be.
“We shall, at all times, preoccupy ourselves with developmental projects and activities.”

They also commended and appreciated  President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Chief Nnia Nwodo, whom, they said  gave almost everything within his reach to ensure that the summit was a success.
