The need to work for the success the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ogun State at the 2019 polls was further re-emphasised during the opening of its senatorial office in Ijebu Ode, at the weekend.

The party also vowed to take over the reins of governance in the state.

At the event, the state chairman of the party, Dr. Gbolade Osinowo, admonished party supporters to work assiduously for the emergence of ADC candidates for all elective positions in the state and national levels at the forthcoming polls.

For the Ogun East ADC senatorial candidate, Engr. (Dr.) Deji Ashiru (EDA), pledged to bring dividends  of democracy to the door steps of everyone in the district.

He also promised that all roads and other  infrastructural development to boost growth within the area would be given adequate attention.

Ashiru said,  “Ogun East people need a  good motivator like me who will ensure that the youths are properly guided in their endeavours.

I also intend to empower them and ensure that the aged are well taken

care of. These are major areas that I intend to focus on.”

While speaking during the opening, the ADC gubernatorial candidate, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka (GNI), promised to make life more meaningful for  Ogun state citizens through purposeful human face programmes, if voted into power in 2019.

The carnival-like event witnessed decampees from different political parties  who joined the ADC, promising  to work for the success of the party at next year’s polls.

The party chairman, Dr. Gbolade Osinowo, used the opportunity to assure them that they would be given equal rights with existing members of the party.
