As the NPFL title race enters its crescendo with two matches left, the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu would literally go up in flame, as title seeking People’s Elephant attempt to trample on the Enugu Flying Antelopes in Matchday 37 of the Nigeria Premier League.

The Aba -based outfit have 57 points while the Enugu-based Antelopes are on 52 points, having secured their status in the top division for another season.

The People’s Elephant are in the hunt for a top-three finish as they sit in fourth position behind leaders Plateau United, MFM  and Akwa United, and the players know  how important it will be for them to grab the maximum three points at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium where they have managed just two wins in their last 13 travels.

The derby, Pundits have observed, will be intriguing and interesting rolled into one considering the fact that Rangers would want to win the three points ignored to shore up their points for a continental ticket next year. And Enyimba on the other hand would be aiming at a win so as to push out Akwa United from the third position.

Meanwhile, Rangers General Manager and CEO, Christian Chukwu has stated that the Flying Antelopes will fight- to- finish and hope to consolidate.
