NPFL player on European clubs’ radar

Sunshine Stars of Akure play maker, Ambrose Onyeama is being chased by the teams Football Management Agency based in London.

According to Onyeama, a member of the Siasia- coached 2008 Olympic team, he is aware that through the football agency in London, there are offers, but his concern now is to fully concentrate on his present club – Sunshine Stars.

“Yes I have been contacted by the President of the Football Agency in London. We have been in talks and I told him that my main concern now is to play well for my club and ensure that we are on a good position on the league table.”

However, Saturday SunSport was able to confirm from the agent in London who stated that he had been monitoring Ambrose Onyeama from his playing days at Rangers of Enugu and Dolphins of Port Harcourt where he had played.

The Agent explained that he was convinced with his performance, hence the interest being generated.

“Amsbrose Onyeama is in hot demand by clubs in Turkey, Greece, and Switzerland. And I making efforts to see that things happen this summer,” he stated.

Ambrose currently plays in the left wing of the Akure Gunners, having played for various clubs in both the National and NPFL leagues and once

represented Nigeria in a Beach soccer tournament in Dubai.
