The police siege to its parallel secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the weekend appeared not to have cowed the Alhaji Kawu Baraje-led faction of the party as it announced yesterday the composition of its National Working Committee (NWC).
National Secretary of the faction and former Osun State governor, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola in a statement made available to journalists in Abuja said stakeholders of the party across the country at a meeting in Abuja had ratified the election of members of its NWC.
The NWC has Alhaji Abubakar Baraje, Dr. Sam Sam Jaja and Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, as chairman, deputy national chairman and national secretary, respectively.
The three officers had earlier been announced as interim officers penultimate weekend.
Others are Maode Umar Hiliya, deputy national secretary; Mr. Timi Frank, national youth leader; Binta Koje, national woman leader; Mallam Nasir Issa, national organising secretary; Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, national publicity secretary; Wadada, national financial secretary and Mallam Tanko Isiaku Gomna, national treasurer.
The statement added that the positions of national auditor and that of national legal adviser which were zoned to the South-East and South-West respectfully, would be announced soon.
