    • Iso November 5, 2012 at 9:56 pm

Gideon, Ohaneze or no Ohaneze, Igbo Governors or no governors We shall make it. We don’t need does political ambitious and betrayers on this journey. Just keep your mouth short and watch, we don’t need your advice or contribution. Go and control your own brothers to liberate their self from Your father’s country.

Ogoni people declared sovereignty and no single person was arrested, not even their leader. Boko haram have rendered FG almost incapacited intelligence and security wise. Now, Biafra has coughed and Nigeria has suddenly awoken from her slumber. God must surely liberate biafrans sooner or later.

  7. promise November 5, 2012 at 2:32 pm

while arresting people who are on peaceful demostration. how many boko haram killers have been arrested. the people said they are tired of govt supression & intimidations, its obvious that nigeria is divided & igbos all over the the country are treated as slaves upon their less involvement in govt. pls those arresting them should have a rethink coz its better peaceful than violent.

  8. kunmi-ayo November 5, 2012 at 2:35 pm

If it is a protest and it ends at that, then the people should be allowed to go, arresting a man for demanding for secession is a bit high handed,What Nigerians need do is to have a sovereign constitutional conference where all the ethnic nationalities in Nigeria will agree on the rationale behind the running of their nation. From the north to the south, east to west, the cl amour for secession is deafening. Nigerian are not tribal jingoists in the true sense of it,this attitude is a reflection on the failure of the leaders

  9. alexander November 5, 2012 at 2:43 pm

nigeria, should think if what they are doing is good, this is just a peaceful protest, they were not parading with weapons or causing problems in the city, anyway police people dont work by the rule of law, but they are used for evil and evil alone, because of that, they cannot differenciate between red and black, may God help them

It’s said wisdom comes with age,but reverse is the case with former Nigerian leaders (self claimed OBJ). If you infanticide and your fellow evil minded northerners whom has embarrassed Islam in every way have a little value for truth, it won’t be difficult to see why you wouldn’t let the IGBO’S be they don’t want this marriage, but the north and west is forcing it on them which proves the (north and west) is afraid to let go cos they have nothing to offer, they lack creativity, and will to make way where there is none that’s why they’re stuck to the Igbo’s like parasites. Your blood sucking tentackles will shrinkle soon.
The best for Nigeria is a dissolution into self federating units like the UK i wonder why it’s difficult for these men to see.

    • urchman November 6, 2012 at 2:56 am

    • Ubochi November 6, 2012 at 6:05 am

Oga Obj, u are right. But d only thng dat can bring all Nigerians 2getherly divided in peace is for big people like u and others to say ‘no’ to being at the helm of governance. Give people chance 2 expres their feelings potically & otherwise.

Why force people to remain in Nigeria when don’t want to. Even the Scottish have been given the chance to vote if they want to remain part of the United Kingdom or not. Our colonial master created the fraudulent togetherness called Nigeria. Let Ndigbo have a right to self determination. I support the Republic of Biafra.

    • Gideon November 5, 2012 at 7:38 pm

I think you guys went about it the wrong way. The first thing you need to do is to get majority of your people to agree with you. Your leaders like Ohaneze, your governors, and legislators should join you. See this via UN, and then, declare where your border line lies. Another smart way to do this is for all of you to join APGA, and run your zone like a country. In other words, all your people should withdraw from other states of the federation, and start building your new Biafra. At that time, we will see that you are serious. But if the ones you get are bums like are being shown in the picture here, then, you cannot be serious about Biafra!

      • J.p November 6, 2012 at 6:55 am

God bless u gideon.u re truly gideon.d igbos do not know hw to pursue deir course, follow d procedure nd succeed.unit ursef veri wel.get all ur governors, senators, rep members into one party nd den proceed to d UN.u must speak one voice nd one agenda else u constitute nuissance.

OPC leaders are not killing anyone to become millionaires. Just get your act right and declare Biafra. You guys seem to be blaming everyone for your problem. Why can’t you guys unite once for a common course. Then, we will take you serious! Ojukwu tried, but he got greedy by trying to annex other lands that did not belong to Biafra. That was his undoing. My hope is that government grant you your request, so that you can be gone for good.

I have always said it that Biafra is not a viable project, rather a business venture for some people. I support their arrest as their action is capable of causing chaos if allowed. Which Igbo opinion leaders did they carry along? Must Igbo fate be decided by a bunch of illitrates?

I salute your courage and doggedness to fight for our right Mr onwuka. Your are like ojukwu. My fellow biafrans, let rise now and take our home. All the igbo politicians(kalu orji,Ike ekweremadu, obi, chime, odili peter, sam egwu, ngige,Dora,Ararume.Okorocha, chimaroke, and more) should see biafra as a non-substituteable legacy they can leave for next generation. Think of collective advantages of biafra to ndi igbo. You can forfeit your position, allowance, comfort, etc for the libration, emancipation and restoration of your people. Pls.we need biafra the only place we can call our home. Act now!

  32. Ofeke November 5, 2012 at 4:33 pm

Take it or live it, Biafra must be. What happened today is another wake up call for Nigeria to start preparation for peaceful dissolution of this nonsense call Nigeria. They must released and that means Biafra have come to stay. I was there life and it was electrical.

  33. Theophilus Adenekan November 5, 2012 at 4:34 pm

I do not know if the Igbos are doing deep thinking. Which Republic of Biafra are you asking for? How many states in the present Nigeria will constitute that new Republic? What is your population about? Do you know that the land called Igboland, is small compared to the population of the people called Igbo? Do you know that it is one important reason why Igbos cannot all stay at home? Igbos constitute majority of the migrants in Yorubaland and the North. Go to Ghana, Benin, Mali, Gambia and other countries, you will find out that the Igbos are the majority of Nigerian migrants. Please your nature and culture is such that you need other parts of Nigeria and Africa to survive. Remember, Rivers, Cross rivers, Bayelsa are not part of Igboland. My adivce is that if you can be less selfish and less tribal minded, you will enjoy and better off, in a united Nigeria. Long live the Republic of Nigeria.

  34. Lawrence November 5, 2012 at 4:44 pm

For how long more will these ignorant people make this useless declaration being instigated by greedy business men. Biafra is not feasible.
You people should go and face your business.

  35. akin finefine November 5, 2012 at 4:44 pm

Sooner or latter, this anomaly project called Naija will collapse like a pack of cards. Or how else do u describe a country where the rulers pay no attention to the welfare of her citizens? This country is only being enjoyed by those Abokis cum terrorists up North and that’s why those fanatics will do anything to keep it together even in fragmented form.

  36. Utara November 5, 2012 at 4:44 pm

  38. sunny dike November 5, 2012 at 4:46 pm

For how long shall we pretend to be united while some selfish leaders continue to drag the country backwards. The Ibos cannot continue to be the sacrificial lamb for false national unity. Its either a Sovereign national conference or separation.

    • Sire November 5, 2012 at 5:25 pm

Is it demonstration or declaration? If its d former then an act of treason is committed. We d northern inhabitants are not afraid of secession, the Igbos are proud of crude oil dat belongs to ethnic minorities in d South South. Niger Deltan beware of total anihilation by the igbos, cos they don’t see u as one of them

    • KEEN OBSERVER November 5, 2012 at 7:14 pm

My friend, you have a right to your own opinion about the Igbos. I will however like you to make a list of those that has been caught in the act of looting the Nigeria treasury in the most disgraceful show of unequaled greed. Please in doing the above, take a survey of present day Nigeria and in past. Then list out the number of Igbos indicted: side by side the other tribes in Nigeria. Please it will pay you to check your facts and figures well in the future before making such general conclusion about a whole tribe. Good-day.

  43. Frank November 5, 2012 at 5:10 pm

This will tell you the real minds of most people in Nigeria. ONE NIGERIA is like kerosine and water, it can never mix togather. The House of Assembly should, stop deceiving themselves in the name of Constitutional-Amendment. What majority of the South West, South-south, South-East, North-Central want is regional authonomy, through the convocation of Sovereign National Conference. The earlier the National Assembly know this, the better for Nigeria. You can not register Nigeria in Oganisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) and turn around to force us to become muslims, and be killing us with Boko Haram. No!!!! We want Biafra!!!! Yes!!! This time, international community will hear our matter. Click bellow and see why the killing of Biafrans in Nigeria will not stop. http://creazyislam.typedpad.com It’s good the way it started so that the UN, Amnesty International, Human Rights Activists, etc will intervene and ask Nigeria if her constitution is not subjected to the UN charter on Human rights of people to self Determination.

    Fellow Nigerians,
Biafuras declaration is just another adorement to the existing entity called Naija. It could have been a million Man Match in honour of the legendary Zik than re-incarnating the nemesis of Ojukwu’s eternal blunder..

Obansanjo is compound fool, his comment depicts what he is. If were him silence should have been the best. The so called vampir and leech has made an open declaration of enemisty beteen him and us. he lDefinitely you will live and watch Biafra. Remember the loud cry u made when u visited Aba Enyimba city, ” Ibos how marvelous are u, what a rapid development” u will be disgraced one day if not for slaughtering Biafrans it might be for the economy of the Nigeria Boko haran u maimed. Guerillas and bamboos should not live among the living Obansanjo be warneddddddddddddddd.

    • Topsy Ony November 6, 2012 at 8:58 pm

The level of intelligence of some commentators here is quite laughable. An intelligent Pry 5 pupil will know that the real Obasanjo will not make a comment here. And though I’m not Igbo, I have many wise & brilliant Igbo as friends. They are too deep & too smart than to support the ridiculous declaration at Enugu. The childish support given to a laughable declaration shows a people of small minds. My rich, comfortable, interactive Ibo millionaire friends in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt will laugh at the idea of Biafra, which will turn back the hand of igbo’s clock by 100 years. Watch out! Empty minds will react to this with vain vituperations without addressing the issues.

It looks like the only thing our government recognises is blood shed and destruction. They are calling boko haram for negotiations because they are killing people and destroying properties while they are arresting biafrans because they are protesting.nw the question is,would the police have stood up to them if they had shown up with guns and bombs?.the answer is NO! But yet they beat their hands on their chest and claim they are doing the right thing.today it is protest but tomorrow it will be something worse.and so will it continue untill it turns out into a civil war.when will the nigerian government learn to dialogue first before opening up their armory?.we don’t want blood shed but if that is what it will take, then so be it.biafra must stand and all our enemies must fall.let the igbo politicians who want to rule nigerian get ready.i hope that today’s protest was big enough to tell the nigerian government and the entire world that we biafrans want what belongs to us and the sooner the better.GOD BLESS BIAFRA.

  52. Odogwu November 5, 2012 at 5:30 pm

  53. Bayo Olofinsao November 5, 2012 at 5:31 pm

Nigeria is not a country, it is a collection of different incompatible nations, illegally joined together in 1914 by Lord Lugard, the Igbo’s should endure till 2014 when the celebration of dissolution of 100years of bitter married life between the North and South will take place.

That day will be the greatest day for Nigeria. You will be gone for good. Make sure you negotiate with your neighbor (to the south) about your border, so that you do not end up in another war. You already knew that those people (Port-Harcourt, Calabar, & other south of you) do not want to be any part of your adventure.

  61. Sam o November 5, 2012 at 6:28 pm

It is high time we go for a national conference and decide the way forward. We all know that the present system of govt and the constitution is not working, lets have a forum where all will discuss. The military incursion into governance worsen problem that was created by the colonial master.

The entire Igbo’s including our south south brothers & sisters are not happy to hear the bad news concerning the arrest of those BIAFRA ZIONIST MOVEMENT , and we are warning Federal Government to release those people arrested by Nigeria police; Again, let those Nigerian evil politician be Noted that we Igbo’s in abroad will come home in a surprise way any time any moment to fight those who are blocking the Biafra independent movements.

The New Biafra’s are equal to the tax, and our motor is NO retreat, NO surrender until we achieve the Biafra Republic. No bodies can stop Biafra to stand. We are not BOKO HARAM TERRORIST GROUPS, what we are fighting is independent not to assassinate any group or government but any person or groups that’s blocking this independent will regret because the hour have come. Be warn and keep away of blocking the new Biafran to avoid another bloody civil war.

  66. udeh celestine November 5, 2012 at 6:52 pm

Why such arrest, intimidation and humiliation? Federalism and amalgamation was sort of impostion on the Igbo Nation. After the civil war in 1970, Nigeria rejoiced and celebrated her conquest over Biafra, and introduced the so called 3Rs that was limited to the Igbo communities, but was highly concentrated in the Northern communities that were not invaded. Shortly after that, was the introduction one Nigerianism which existed on theories and on the lips of the Nigerian leaders, but any slight crises be it social, religous, political, the Igbos are often the major target. However, the theory of one Nigerianism is like a postulation without imperical evidence or prove. Nigeria, please allow us go. Biafra MUST STAND come what may

  67. udeh celestine November 5, 2012 at 7:03 pm

If such massive arrest again, then Nigerian police shoud be ready to kill all Igbos, because we can not fold our arms and watch them arrest Ndi Igbo again

  68. Okey November 5, 2012 at 7:04 pm

Wicked Nigerian police, why is it that they are afraid of Biafra, what is at the back of Nigerian, why are not ready to let igbos go? we don’t want to be part of Nigeria again, so what. bastard. very soon we the igbo in diaspora will start ours soon, let them wait and see fucker Nigeria

  69. Dele Odugbemi November 5, 2012 at 7:04 pm

It is not only the South East that is frustrated but all components of Nigeria are frustrated and fed up with a country that has not got anything meaningful to show for 52 years of independence even in the midst of oil exploitation and exploration since 1958.
The Yoruba are also frustrated too, so Nigeria will ultimately break into tribal nations if the present crop of Leaders continue to shy away from the realities on ground by saying Nigeria unity is not negotiable or she will remain indivisible when all indices show that there is no unity among the various ethnic nationalities that make up the geographical expression called Nigeria.
The best option that can keep us together as one country is to allow each zone or region control its resources and develop at its own pace without being held down by so called Federal Government of Nigeria. Those arrested agitators for self determination as Biafra republic should be released unconditionally while Federal Government, NASS in conjunction with State Governments and Houses of Assembly put in motion the process of convocation of national conference where all ethnic nationalities would sit down and agree on the structures suitable for us all to co-habit as one nation or each zone answers the name of his FATHER!!!

It is wrong to arrest the people declaring for Biafra. It is time Nigeria government seat with this people and let them know the demarcation (or border) line for Biafra. After all, they are not violent. Another option is for Biafran to seek this via UN. Nigeria is better off without Biafra. I’m sure that, if the first declaration did not include calabar, Port-Harcourt during Ojukwu’s time, we would have let them ago. Long Live Biafra!

Can’t you see Rivers and Bayelsa fighting for possession over an oil well dug between their borders?. I warn u dats how Biafra will come and go amidst crisis. Some tms wen i see comments made by these ppl (igbos) i just laugh. They caused the problems of nigeria in the first place during d 1966 coup killing our brothers sir ahmadu n tafawa balewa and also others while letting their own brodas flee the country n dis coup plotters (terrorists) r been celebrated all over the igbo land as heroes. if the igbo wants to go(seperate) they should put themselves 2geda n go 2 UN n do what thier brodas in south sudan did if they feel they been marginalised, as a northerner i dont have a problem with dat. If d Igbos tink dat we (northeners) cannot survive, den they r sadly mistaken, i wish them luck with their seccession. I only have simpathy for the igbos that have settled here with us living in peace with us as well as those that even dont want to go home bcos of the excesses commited by their ppl. On the issue of boko haram non- muslims especially from the igbo tribe have been caught planting bombs even in churches e.g BUK bombings in kano, its only sad that media houses as well as newspapers most of the tyms report false info. But also am not saying wat they Boko haram are doing is correct as the religon of Islam strong codemns such act bcos it considers all human lives scared. Pls learn 2 do research b4 commenting on any issue i.e not by only relyin on newpapers

It is trisonable felony, and liable to life imprisonment for anyone or group of people to embark on such declaration, if a nation is to be ceded, not in this manner. They have committed a grate sin.

  124. williams November 5, 2012 at 10:10 pm

Arresting people who are expressing their feelings is totally barbaric, Nigeria as we know is not working at all… We must stop deceiving our selves claiming to be one, killing ourselves is a total failure. It is better we go our separate ways living in peace than these non sense. The north wants an Islamic republic why will the South be deprived of Christian Republic Biafra. We are not going to remain in Nigeria where our security is not guaranteed…. Boko haram issue will be forgotten as soon as Biafrans are freed from this demonic marriage Nigeria. copy from India,Pakistan,Bangladesh. IN BIAFRA WE STAND,IN GOD WE TRUST.

  139. Truesage Id November 6, 2012 at 12:36 am

Left to me I want Biafra to stand. This
declaration must not be the end, Biafra should begin to print and circulate their currency #160 equals to $16000Biafran. $16000Biafran must now be at par or equals to US$16000. Dollar must be the official currency for the short term until naira is weakened.
The whole of eastern region should go with Biafra for this liberation to succeed and avoid any internal rancor. Also as the north have promoted Bureau De change business so must the Igbos promote theirs to transact their currency which firstly must be acceptable internationally.
The Yorubas too should follow and declare Oduduwa nation and print their currency as well. $1 equals to $1awo.

  140. Usman November 6, 2012 at 12:40 am

I think this satanic man Goodluck Jonathan claimed he love the igbos, up to the point he forged an igbo name Goodluck Ebele “AZIKIWE” Jonathan just to get their support. Now is the time to show ur love for the igbos and grant them their desired “REPUBLIC OF BIAFRA”. How i wish Ojukwu is still alive to see people who actually understood why he fought, went on exile and died.

  141. Ken November 6, 2012 at 12:46 am

  150. Dr. A. Akeem November 6, 2012 at 4:20 am

This is my problem with the so called igbo pple in this rather unfortunate nation put together by an usuper called lugard, the igbo will never do something and do it reasonably, argument, boasting, lack of focus etc, always dominate their thought, majority of them have no regard for their own elders talkles of elders of other ethnic groups. On the recent imbroglo from illusive Achebe’s memoir and during Ondo state governorship election 98% of abusive and insult of elders especially on yoruba origin came frm igbo people, yet corpses of igbo people are being transported home from the north on daily basis. Col. Adekunle Fajuyi gave his life up for igbo man when the late Yar’adua and stil living TY Danjuma went for their prey. Igbo have never talk about that and wil not do until TY pass on, the same way Achebe had to wait for Awo and perhaps losing patient for Gowon to pass away before he brings his joker. Igbo enlightened should pls role out warning to their parole that yoruba elders are not rags. ([email protected])

Fg should as matter of urgency release those arrested. Why will u arrest those fighting 4 their own freedom? They ve been maltreated, purnished, marginalised and reduced to nought. No good roads no fg presence, unemployment everywhere. Why will fg treat them with harshness and leave and even treat those who bomb and kill ibos (boko haram) as secred cow. Is this not a pure picture of marginalisation? Fg is contemplating to pay boko haram. Is it for unleashing mayhem to ibos or what? U congratulate those real enemies of state and beging to hunt those who want to determine there own cause by themselves. Fg enough of this nonsense.

  165. cleverley November 6, 2012 at 6:52 am

All of you are saying biafrans went it the wrong way so if I may ask you would it be right and fair if we[Biafrans] carry guns and other weapons lyk some groups in Nigeria would dat be the right way?who knows if we carry guns and other weapons u,am saying it might be u dat will go down first. So in Nigeria it is only when someone ask for his right or what belongs to him with guns and other weapons and kill people dat he will be recogniz,I tink tym is coming when biafrans change mode of operation in Nigeria coz it is obvious dat guns n weapons has a tremendous power in dis country. Politician use boys who ferment trouble or who can put up troubles for dem, when someone has gotten some mystick powers dem Government sing his praises and dis got me askin wia has moral gone to?wia has right to good gone to?what is really happening? but Biafrans must change mode of operation as for Igbo so called politicians dey will see and eat d discord dey have bin sown in igbo land.Human beings and people who orientations are lyk dat of Animals cannot stay together so is it high tym dey stay on their own coz ONE Of dem said when their are NO MORE IGBOS NIGERIA will be better so LET biafrans STAY on their OWN so NIGERIA get BETTER for DEM.

  166. Ecoman Obama November 6, 2012 at 6:52 am

The truth of the matter is that there was never a nation. Nigeria is made up of over 250 ethnic groups with different views. Awolowo said that Nigeria is just a mere geographical expression. There is no harmony and so Nigeria is emotionally divided. Police please release those innocent people. Long live Biafra.

  167. Stine Chykee November 6, 2012 at 7:07 am

My brethren both those that wishes Biafra goodluck and those that wishes Biafra ill luck i say to you all its well becouse wat the FG(Police)did yesterday at Okpara Square in Enugu by arresting Mr Ben Onwuka and his members was actualy a blessing in disguise becouse as am writing this comment something is already happening at UNN and International Communities.Do FG thought Mr Ben Onwuka is alone in all this?he already knows that FG and their Police will make an attempt to arrest him and his men but still he went ahead to re-declared Biafra as stipulated so my people just watch, put down your ears down as the more developing is about to unfold.Hahahahahahahaha

Nigerian Govt and security officials are not fair at all to the Biafrans, they settled the militants in the niger delta, been tolerating and going into dialogue with the blood sucking and terrorist group(boko haram ) but when it comes to Easterners they are persecuted, arrested condemned to prisons , i think the war has not ended as far as the hausa’s are concerned. its better we call for a sovereign national conference, after all it is the failure of the leaders to eradicate poverty and provide jobs for the youth that is causing all the restiveness all over the country, all they know is looting the treasury and flauting their ill goten wealths before the youth and the is the cause of , armed robberies, kidnapins and attacks here and there in the failed state nigeria, we better sit and chart ways to end all this agitations if we are serious with at been one. thank you all

Let’s put hands 2gether and fight 4 our right

  179. brightdyke November 6, 2012 at 8:14 am

I am not a pro Biafra, or pro one Nigeria, but the events that have followed since after independence has clearly shown that the problem of Nigeria is one Nigeria. Ours is a plural society, and it’s very obvious that our leaders past did not consider the plurality of the nation before agreeing to the ill-considered one Nigeria from the colonial rulers. And these we have suffered- 1st it was the civil war and now the cold war of Boko haram, hardship, marginalisation, povertty, illiteracy, armed robbery ,rape, bad roads and kiddnapping. If our supposed unity is our weakness, then let’s try secession. Federal government is considering a negociation with the Boko haram sect, but arresting peaceful demostrators. Fairness, equity, equality, justice are the most basic ingredents of a united society, but sadly enough the Igbos have not had enough of it in Nigeria. Please, Nigeria treat all alike or allow them go.

I’m a Igbo, but i must confess that most of my people drumming the issue of Biafra independence are jobless youths from the east. A typical Igboman, though fed up with the killings of Igbos up north, will not support the division of Nigeria. We had never supported it, except when we were pushed to the wall during the progrom, that led to the war. We are the melting pot of Nigeria’s unity, that is why we are found everywhere even in the most volitile place in the north. Though the Biafra struggle is pronounced in the east, and the Biafran flag abound almost everywhere. The same is applicable to the west where the OPC flags are visible, in the Boko-Haram held north and in Ogoni and Bakassi lands. Even the so-called BZM(Biafra zionist movement) is a faction of MASSOB, they broke out because they felt Uwazuruike has dropped the idea of independece for Biafra, by using MASSOB to fight for the share of the Igbos in the Nigerian federation. For instance a President of Igbo origin, a sixth igbo state and the evacuation of trapped igbo people in the volatile north. Just as the OPC were used to achieve a Yoruba President in 1999, MEND ensured the ascendency of Jonathan and now the north to ensure Buharis presidency through Boko-Haram. However the Igbo elites are wiser, that is why Ohaneze and other group has unanimously accepted Uwazurike’s leadership. The Igbo would never again push for the balkanization of Nigeria, let other who have grudges do it. If we would divide then it would be peacefully done in a round table. Right now every, Igboman are joining the quest for the election of a Nigerian President of Igbo extraction. Except those people from the BZM coming here to air their grieviances.

But as Old Major advised animals, in ”animal farm”, not to copy the devices of man, when it works, we should not copy the devices of …..I wish Igbos well

Right now every, Igboman are joining the quest for the election of a Nigerian President of Igbo extraction. Except those people from the BZM coming here to air their grieviances. Igbo ndi oma, kanyi jiri ofu obi neme ihe. Igwebuike!

  187. Ndiuno November 6, 2012 at 9:12 am

Nigeria Police should respect freedom of expression and self-determination. BZM is agitating for their right and it must be respected at all cost. They are armless; freedom fighters just like Martin Luther King Jnr. who championed emancipation of Blacks in USA through civil unrest. They do this constitutional demonstration in their soil nobody should arrest, detain or torture them. Nigeria Police should be chrged to court for abuse of Human right. Enough is Enough.

I love biafrans may God grant us our heart desire i pray that heaven , and earth will her the cry of the igbos and lebrate us, when God say yes who can say no .biafra has come to stay . Thank God amen

  189. ike anosike November 6, 2012 at 9:13 am

The people who are carring around these flags, declaring biafra, are doing untold damage to the cause. It’s petinent that the agitators & youths clamouring for freedom from oppression and all manner of injustice which are glaring have a case, but i think some people are giving a bad image to a noble cause. First, any group or persons who are interested in the Igbo cause should come together, aticulate most properly its’ opinion, agenda, nd policies. Some of the issues are things that should be challenged in courts , Ecowas court, International criminal court, human rights court etc, and not by giving the enemy something to celebrate.

  190. war fighter (army man) November 6, 2012 at 9:31 am

I wonder why a boundle of street hockers protesting for Biafra who will lead them. Is those igbo leaders in Govt. Not awere? Imagen somebody from: Lags, Abj, Jos, Phc, even ranaway citizen from Korea, south Africa, Ivre’cost, Sudan etc. Glamouring suporting the illiterate ones. And this’s the kind of people that does’n have respect for their elders, that’s why they can course every one without making reasonable statement. Who want die! Shouting is’n the solution, reason well be warn!!!

  191. Chidimma November 6, 2012 at 9:39 am

Let the Igbo go please, atleast Nigeria ll be free of 419 and drugs pushing and we ll regain back our dignity in the eyes of the world

  192. Nyam November 6, 2012 at 9:43 am

Hmmm u agitants forget that Biafra will be a land-locked state abi? how will you import all your goods? remember your survival has been based on the large Nigerian market which you have fleeced over the years.

Nigeria will be better off without Ibos, Yorubas and Hausas.

  193. Don sunny Biafra November 6, 2012 at 10:41 am

Biafra we stand nomater what ?

  194. Usman November 6, 2012 at 10:45 am

AGU MBAISE or what ever u call urself, understand the statement before u coment. Even if they give igbos the biafra republic, FOOLS like u will still kill the biafra. Ojukwu is too big for me to ridicle him. I said “he fought, went on exile and died”. Not that he died in exile even the unborn generation will still have the records of Ojukwu’s death. How dare u misquote me?

  195. Nyam November 6, 2012 at 11:08 am

Funny these Ibos – the same people clamouring for the resurrection of dead Biafra REJECTED their leader Ojukwu in politics. A whole “hero” could not even win a senatorial election in 1981. As for APGA and Ojukwu presidency – they lost deposit. Now that Ojukwu and Biafra are gone, dead and buried – you are all shamelessly shouting for secession. By the way what is Iboland contributing to the national cake? they are not important to Nigeria – lol!

  196. IG November 6, 2012 at 11:15 am

No force in love, the ‘Nigeria’ will not force the ‘biafria’ to be one. we are not determined to be united by force, we are free to make a choice.human freedom should be respected at all cost. Good luck J. do something with the power vested on you.

  197. Ok man November 6, 2012 at 12:37 pm

The fool that called himself abari, which job did you and good for nothing group called Nigeria police did or have Nigeria ever had a hero? When did it become a must that Biafrans must be part of this useless arrangement by Lugard?

  200. CALLISTUS NWOYE November 6, 2012 at 1:40 pm

I will highly remain indebted to His Excellency Onwuka for his bravary and patriotic step. Those who are against the re-declaration of Biafra are very far from the reality. Biafra through our beloved Ikemba made our stand known to Nigeria that we are not Nigerians and it was misinterpreted by the then “SATAN” Gowon anti ibonist as abomination and determined to wipe us from the face of the earth. Since after the dark days, no one had ever thought imitating our Ikemba´s step through a new dimension. If we do not ask we shall not been given? Palestine has been going to the Un fo quirt a long time expressing their grievances even they are not plausible. We cannot fold our hands and to embrace our Independence. A journey of one mile starts with a step. I am so happy with the move of Onwuka because no live was lost. He chose a diplomatic dimension by going to UN before. He is a man of his words and that is what we need, it is time to hold the bull by the horn. We are in Catalunya and we see how work towards their own independence, so Onwuka should be praised and supported. We assure you people that we ar egoing to re-declare Biafra here in Catalunya. Radio Biafra is on in London, it is time to send strong messages across the word. One trillion is eaual to On Biafra. We have no inheritance in the house of Nigeria Haram boko. If president Jonathan wants to maintain his international prestige, he should advocate for Biafra referendum within the Southern states and release our King Onwuka with immediate alacrity.

  201. Martin O November 6, 2012 at 6:07 pm

Nigeria is like a house in shamble, with all forms of deffects and the builder (Britain) purposely built it to be in this form.
How come this house notoriously stand tall in the midst of the earth and the builder (Briatin)pretending to be helpless, while at the same time blocking any form of remedy to this house and its inhabitant. What a CROOK & CRIMINAL are thou Britain!!!!!!!!!!!!. People of Nigeria, keep your hope EVERGREEN, Britain are not God.

    Martin

A tree can not make a forest.let all igbos come together as one befor dis movement will stand.majority of igbo didt surport dis especially Governors, senators nd house of Rep,even market traders bcos of there money.RE-THINK guys

  203. Topsy Ony November 6, 2012 at 9:04 pm

A people will declare an independent state within a state, with an acclaimed President, a national flag, and they will not be arrested. People have brain, but they don’t use it, when they allow sentiment to becloud their judgment.

  204. nnolim November 6, 2012 at 10:14 pm

IGBO POLITICIANS ARE ALL SYCOPHANTS AND FOLLOW -FOLOW POLITICIANS.THE PRESENT GOVT WILL SOON USE AND DUMP YOU PEOPLE.YOU WILL SOON START LOOKING FOR ANOTHER PRESIDENT FROM THE NORTH.I`M WAITING TO SEE ONE IGBO LEADER/POLITITICIAN WHO CAN STAND FOR THE INTEREST OF THE IGBOS.
BIAFRA MUST STAND.GOD IS WITH US.

  207. Ibn Ibrahim November 7, 2012 at 10:41 am

I love igbo ppls 4 one thing, they do everything in a civiliased way.(1)when flood submerged them & d FG is not given due attention, they turn to prostesters so that d govt can feed them officially,(2)when they engaged in “achawo”,they called it commecial sex workers,(3)when they danced naked in d club, they called entertainment.(4)when d join cult, they named it association.(5)when d rob & kidnap, they called it business,(6)419 to dem is brain. However,we will missed dem in d following industry:ppure-water company, slipers plc, dagun plc, importation of outdated vehicle known as “scrabs” & also expired frogen items.i wish Biafra republic of comendians best of luck.i rest my pen with d proverb”a stiches in time save nine”.

    • Nwa OPI November 7, 2012 at 1:47 pm

you are simply being envious of the success of the Igbo people. The almighty God, having seeing all the evil the Nigerian people is committing against the Igbos, blessed us by making us industrious. Little wonder Igbo people is the most richest people in Nigeria despite our losses at the civil war.

I believe in Biafra and will always do. Why is it that anytime the Igbos coughs, the whole nigeria is in crisis. Does it then imply that nigeria as presently constituted cannot truly stand on it’s own without the Igbos? Ajuju? The rebirth of Biafra is a dream come true. If nigerian govt really wants to arrest all of us,then the enormous task for them is to visit all the social networks in the world to fish out all Biafrans. We will never give up Biafra to any group,be it nigeria or their british allies. They will soon get tired of arresting us. Long live the memories of our heroes and heroines past. Long live the people of Biafra. Long live the republic of Biafra.

  211. kevin chukwuemeka November 10, 2012 at 9:40 pm

Adenkan,I do not share your view that Republic of Biafra will not be viable on the contrary.Landmark or size of a Nation in not a recipe for a success but, what makes for a suuccess in statehood are:commitment and creativity of citzenry which is present in the DNA of Biafrans. That igbo are scattered all over Nigeria should not be misconstrued to mean lack of operating space at home.Igbo for the large part are global builders and that is why they can be found any in the World, period.Adenkan ,when you said that the Biafra proposed Nation is small population and Landmark.Have given thought to much smaller Nations like Israel,Belgium;East Tamoe to mention but a few.I laugh at some Nigerians who kept saying that the Republic of Biafra do not include all the entire old Eastern region .This is misleading,Igbo, and all Brethrens of former old Eastern region have equal and inseparable destiny ordained by God.This my divine statement will come to pass sooner or later.Mark my word .
