There was pandemonium in Abgbarho Community, Delta State yesterday when a middle-aged man burnt a member of a vigilance group alive and ate his flesh. Daily Sun gathered that the culprit took the action to avenge the murder of his twin brother by the vigilance group member.
The incident occurred at the popular Five Junction of Orho-Agbarho in Ughelli North Local Government Area of the state. Eyewitnesses told Daily Sun that the vigilante and the deceased had placed a bet on a pack of cards they were playing with huge sum of money to be won. According to them, the vigilance group man lost the game and when the winner insisted that his money be given to him, he refused. Sources said when he could not get the money, the security man rushed to his house to take his gun and shot his friend to death.
They said when the deceased’s twin brother heard of the incident, he mobilized his relations to apprehend the culprit. Daily Sun further gathered that as soon as the alleged killer was apprehended, he was taken along with the deceased’s lifeless body to Five Junction, where they set him ablaze after beating him mercilessly. Still gripped with fury, the brother to the deceased was said to have then dismembered the charred body of the vigilante and threw the parts around the five junctions before he started eating them.
Investigations revealed that anti-crime policemen from Agbarho along with some soldiers later came to the scene and shot the man who ate the body parts. It was gathered that he later died in police custody. However, during the sporadic shooting by the police and the military team at the scene, three persons were killed by stray bullets. Thus, a total of six people died during the particular incident. Meanwhile, Agbarho has been deserted, as tension and uncertainty pervaded the community.
Vengence belongs to God, those who want to revenge always fall into greater problems. Vengence really belongs to GOD. Leave vengence to God and He will avenge for you.

Much I did not support the act of killing, roasting and eating the human body which tantamount to ritualis and carnivorous, is much I advocate the Biblical injunction in the book of Matthew 11:12. Right from the time of John the Baptist, the kingdom of God suffereth violence, and by violence taketh it by force. But this one, it is purely rituals and the boy who took vengeance for his brother is a ritualis, vampire and carnivorous. He went to an extreme. Thank God he faced the same music and paid supreme price. Did he not know that to engage into gamble is an offence? This is a question he ought to have asked himself before he took such inhumane vengeance for his brother.
Can u imagine! Two brothers die for no just reason. I pity their poor mum where ever she is. Who knows if the two young men are a source of hope and encouragement to their parents. God! What an indecent lifestyle. I pray God to give their parents, relatives, friends a fortitude to bear the lost of their lifes.

All these killings are jungle justice, the 1st two killers have met justice, the police and soldiers must face justice as well, were they not trained on how to handle guns, theirs are always an error but the others is intentional. Justice must prevail. I dont really blame the flesh eater for he must have been psychologically affected by his twin brother’s death. We must be proffessional in handling such cases. The vigilante gambler is dead, the twin gambler is dead, the vengeful twin is dead, these trio’s death are understandable; uncontrol greed for vigilante man, intolerable loss by twin gambler and uncontrollable wrath by vengeful twin, but why the death of other six innocent persons who were either coincidental eye-witnesses or passers-by by the Police and Military who were trained cerified and dispatched to arrest the situation. I constitutionally conclude that these uniform men were ordered by their superior who dispatched them to make sure they shoot at sight, if not the uniform men cannot go there unprofessionally shooting sporadically, why not one of them struck by the stray bullets as they claim? Please, accurate inventory and compensation should taken by the Police of Delta state and those uniform men dismissed not transferred. The death of three uncontrollable Deltans is not suppose to take six cool-headed persons by the law enforcement agencies, Commissioner of Police, Delta state take note. 08128673622

How can a country with so much extra-judicial killings be in peace? In developed world,the police catches an armed robber alife to investigate and find out his motives.But in Naija,you can only hear gun shot and that will be the end of the story.
Let us look at the recruitment exercises in the Nigerian Police Force.Maybe it can help us (Nigerians) get rid of these trigger-happy Officers.Some of our Officers can’t even write their names,illiteracy is a disease.An illitrate an do more than killing an innocent citizen.Let us separate the grains from the chaff by recruiting the right persons into the Police Force.
Let the National Assembly enact praticable laws against extra-judicial killings in Nigeria.
