I advice the COAS not to relax. He should see his retention as a repose of confidence in him by the President. He should not fail to secure the President and his family, the nation and its territory. To Whom much is given much is expected.

congrate to the new appointees, i want to strongly advice that they should take the current security challenges ravaging the country most especially the north with utmost importance and seriosness, whenever weapons are caught with suspects let us know the source.

The President made balanced appointments between the South and North, hence, he deserves commendations as exhibited by the Compatriots. The COAS is young, focused and intelligent, he has been a stabilizing General in the ongoing fight against the Boko Haram terrorist group which might have torn the Country apart if a thorough bred General has not been the COAS at this critical period of our Country..I enjoin the new service Chiefs to serve Nigeria with their strength too. God bless GEJ, God bless Nigeria

Indeed mr president has done a good job in trying to tackle the security menace in the country.however,I felt the COAS should have been elevated to CDS to give him more grip on the helm of tackling our current security challenges.he deseves elevation to a full general and needs to be at the helm of our military affairs.

That’s the only thing you will hear in Nigeria, balance of share or equity of opportunities. Everything is either tribal and ethnic but still all the areas still cry for marginalization. Naija, let’s stop fooling ourselves, shun mediocrity, Nepotism, hypocrisy and embrace patriotism and the spirit of oneness. Naija is one and whether you re from the North, South, West or East, we re one. If we must commend, let’s commend without Nepotism in mind, and then Naija will be in the side of Growth and Development.

Except for corruption or betrayal, I would have lost my faith in Mr President if he had removed the COAS, Gen Ihejirika. The COAS is one General who has displayed professionalism, discipline, confidence, competence, brilliance and patriotism in the discharge of his duties. One can notice all these traits in the appearance and function of our soldiers today. In fact, whenever I see our combat-ready soldiers today, I feel proud and wish I am a soldier. This is because a professional and competent COAS is in charge! Congratulations Mr President.

most people who make coments here are Igbos and it’s very clear that you are talking in contents of setiment because the sensity post is coas that retained his position is from east and you people are pressing the president for the job welldone, this show that Igbos people dosn’t possess the quality of good leadership in this country.
One can even image how they are pressing the president for control of Boko Haram sect forgotten that 80% of crimes committed in nigeria and abroad causing by IGBOS people-Robbery, drugs trafficking, 414,Ritualism and kidnapping etc.

All the past cheifs and head of state are the one who killed professionalism in our milltary system however, we can see a combat ready soldiers in a protective bullet prove vest on operation which was never seen in the history of nigerian millitary system. We all know the number of soldiers that died in peace keeping operation in liberia etc(ECOMOG) which was a result of fake bullet prove vest supplied by the then head of state general Ibrahim Babaginda (RTD) i thank democracy that have brought these new bred of cheifs who had ideology and measuring up with global contemporary millitary system.

When the Government performs well, people commend them. All the people here commended the Govt. for a job well done. Thank you people for your careful observation that this GEJ’s move is expected to be effective. The truth is an empty sack, if it is obvious it is obvious. Go Nigeria.

Who said that Mr GEJ is not wise let him voice out,he knows that COAS is always a sensitive one in Nigeria security system even this point in time so he took a wise decision and allow an Igbo man to retain it becouse trusting it in the hands of Housa man or Yoruba man at this point in time is like santioning his dead warrant.Mr GEJ you need this type of decision to outsmart your opponent and your enemies.Hmmmmmmmmmm
