Jigawa gov’s son’s car kills middle-aged man

•Driver granted bail

Eldest son of Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State, Alhaji Aminu Lamido, is embroiled in another controversy following the death of a middle-aged man who was knocked down by his car.

Confirming this, Kano Police Command Police Public Relations Officer, Assistant Superintendent of Police Magaji Magiya, said the accident was reported at the Kwalli Police Division, adding that they granted bail to the governor’s son and his driver after they made statements at the police station.

It was gathered that the accident happened about three days ago, along Rumfa College by Bayero University Kano Road. An eyewitness said the governor’s son’s car knocked down the middle-aged man who was trying to cross the road.

The victim was immediately rushed to the hospital, but was confirmed dead by doctors on arrival. Magaji said the case file of the accident had been referred to the Director of Public Prosecution in the state for advice, while adding that the vehicle involved in the accident had been taken into their custody.

So after his failed capital flight mission to Egypt, the EFCC had since released this prodigal son of Jigawa. He embacked on a luxurious life style to be parambulating with his fathers fleets to an extend to kill elderly people in town. I know his father will come up again with one flimsy excuse to defend his berand son. Like father, like son, see what OBJ is nurturing to be president 2015 as against GEJ/Ndi Igbo,s aspiration, rubbish. If Lamido becomes president of Nigeria, his son will be navigating with DC10 , wicked people, after committing this crime he will be off the hook instead of heading straight to life in prisonment. Nigeria judiciary over to you now to put an end to this up coming arrogancy.

If he had not been given an executive release by the police after money laundering charges, the victim would have been alive today. NPF, your adherance to executive orders had claimed another life.

Be reasonable people. Young Lamido was a passenger in that car. He was not driving. Do you hold a passenger for his vehicle’s accident. NO.

My friend why do you defend evil, right he is a passenger, but his driver was granted an instant bail against all odds. I don,t know when our people will begin to value life, other nations do not reason like this in a matter that concerns someone’s life we all believe that cann,t be duplicated.
