What is actually happening to Nigerian Governors for God sake? Patrick Yakowa is dead, Danbaba Suntai’s brain is damaged, Liyel Imoke is seriuosly ill, Sulivan Chime is also out of Enugu due to some undisclosed illness. May God have mercy on Nigeria.

why are people sympathizing, are they better than thousands of Nigerians who died on the road as a result of they looting of our resources. Have this sympathizer reflected on the course of people who die of hunger and sickness in Nigeria. I think nature is paying them back. God is watching and he will fight for the poor.

  16. sola akinwande December 28, 2012 at 6:40 pm

This harvest of death has to stop. Our leaders need to reflect on their lifestyle and policies. Are they doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to get the right results? This I doubt much. The way their convoys drive on the roads not properly maintained needs to be imagined…as if they are super beings with different type of life. Let them search their conscience. I sympathize with the families of the dead.

Gone are the days being an ADC is a lucrative Job paying Venture. Today being ADC is putting ur life on the line. Its like somebody being used for money or life protection Rituals. For any person to become Gov in nigeria, things must happen or be happening for the Gov at the Spiritual rhyme. The ADC might be enjoying, there must a day like this on, as this ADC only died in the crash, Why, Why will this happen Gov Wada.

God is still alive. Stolen mandates, and in justice in the country are major cause of these calamities. PDP has taken over the duties of electoral bodies in deciding who win election at all levels. We cried un to God day in day out and God has heard us. Its a calamity that wil affect all the governors and top politicians. It takes only “change of attitude” to avert these. God gave our leaders enough time to play justice but they took the wrong path thinkg the charms they always acquire from Germany and other lands overseas would save them. The case is different now. U often say 4 years is lyk a twinkle of an eye to those u stole their mandates. God is visiting all of u with calamity that is already on ur door steps. It started wt taraba state, followed by Kaduna now kogi. Who would follow suit? No prayer would save u now

  32. Ibrahim Idi December 28, 2012 at 10:24 pm

So many reactions point to the fact that the common man feels shortchanged in Nigeria. Is n’t it amazing that people are literally rejoicing over the misfortunes befalling members of the ruling class? Inasmuch as this trend should be discouraged, we would be foolish not to ponder at the significance of these misfortunes. I once wrote that our leaders belong to another tribe. They do not feel what we feel. The resources and privileges available to them have distanced them from the realities of daily living in Nigeria. Even in the most security challenged areas, here the North, life is moreorless normal for people in Government. All over the country , they ,their families and hangers-on are not perturbed by the difficulties we face in Nigeria. To them , Nigeria is progressing . Using curious economic indices they and their colleagues at Abuja regall us with the tales of the fictitious improvement of our economy. Could it be that the Almighty ALLAH(SWT) has finally started saying something? It would be too simplistic to ignore these happenings . Therefore, although we should not gloat over the pains that some people of power are facing(they are human beings -who may not be intrinsically bad ,and relatives to some people) , they should join us to wonder at the significance of these events. Their colleagues have died and some others are sick or wounded. Haba! : Suntai, yakowa, Imoke, Chime, Azazi , now Wada…. Is God saying something? Is he warning our leaders? If this is so, things will change soon. If that is the intended result, then al-hamdulillah!

  33. Ubilicious December 28, 2012 at 10:28 pm

Though this is a sad news, and my heart goes out to the family of the ADC, I’m quite sure the convoy was moving at breakneck speed, even without being there. i see these public servants on the highway and i wonder if they are racing to save their lives. attitudes must change in this country if not we are doomed.

  34. Paul December 28, 2012 at 10:51 pm

In as much as some governors are not doing well, others are not working at all, some unpatriotic nigerians are worsening the situation by sarbotaging the power project which will enable the government to diversify other alternative means of transport like electric train as in western countries to give less pressure to the roads. For example, the pay as you go electric meter meant be distributed to nigerians is being hoarded by unsruplous wicked nigerians who does’t want the government to achieve a success on power because they fake electric bill and give to the public and nothing goes to the government purse. How will the government operate without fund to fix up the electricity for this generation and other generation to come?

@ Ibrahim Idi: God may not be saying something new. Because he has programmed nature to such a way that whatever one does he shall reap. Religion or believe does nothing to this. What is happening is nothing other than NATURAL JUSTICE! Nature has been much more patient with Nigeria. Especially our leaders. Watch out what cos I see ominous sign of what will happen to more of them b4 ending of January. Masses have suffered a lot cos of them.
