Janet Jackson: Yes, I’m married to Wissam Al Mana

It has been confirmed that pop star, Janet Jackson is already married to Qatari businessman, Wissam Al Mana. “The rumours regarding an extravagant wedding are simply not true,” a statement issued by the singer’s rep states.

“Last year we were married in a quiet, private, and beautiful ceremony. Our wedding gifts to one another were contributions to our respective favourite children’s charities. We would appreciate that our privacy is respected and that we are allowed this time for celebration and joy. With love, Wissam and Janet.” Rumours that Jackson, 46, and Al Mana, 37, were planning a spring wedding started circulating in December.

The couple has been romantically linked since 2010. It’s the third marriage for the Rhythm Nation singer, following her marriages to James DeBarge and Rene Elizondo Jr. (her marriage to the former was later annulled). She was also in a long-term relationship with music producer Jermaine Dupri, which ended in 2009 but the couple never married. Not much is known about Al Mana’s personal life but he is certainly successful in the business world.

The Middle Eastern impresario helps run the Al Mana Group, a family business started by his father over 60 years ago, along with his two brothers. The retail businessman has a reported estimated net worth ranging anywhere from $200 million to over $1 billion.

What did she do wrong here? And who are you to decide for her or judge her on whom to marry? People should know their boundaries & not pry into other peoples private lives. Lets talk about Janet the artist not her private life. Those who think she married him for money should know that Janet is not hungry & is more famous than the new husband. Or some of you feel she made a mistake marrying a Muslim? Please give them a break. I wish them a blissful married life.

Its a right decision. These Arabs are still backward so somebody like janet jeckson should be taken to them, at lest they can see that women are also humanbeing with basic human rights. I hear women is not allowed to drive in sudi arabia, in some arab world women are not free to walk in the street without male companion.
Janet will not only drive but will wear her bikini and walk in the street.

She did this to spite American men.Princess Diana tried same to humiliate the Burkingham palace with Dodi Mohammed. But m15 put paid to her ambition to avoid what would have been the greatest embarrassment to British royal throne and for Princes williamand Harry to share royal blood with Arab world.
