It was a night of music, comedy and dance as musicians and party lovers converged on Trace Lounge and Bar on 36, Ajayi Road, Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos, and celebrated Valentine’s eve party, tagged: Side 1 and friends. Artistes that performed to the delight of their fans during the event included Jaywon, Esho B, Sheyman, Rayce, LKT, Klever, Artquake, Zeeworld, Base 10, Skailey Mental, Tunde Ednut, Oblack, Mayor Mental. Tokunboh Owolabani of Tybase Designs Concepts Limited, who manages Trace Lounge and Bar, said the club had been repackaged to give maximum satisfaction to fun lovers and club crooners around Ikeja and Ogba environs.
Activities lined up during the week include: Monday and Tuesday is time for jazz music, while on Wednesday, a live band will perform. Thursday is the Happy Hour while on Friday, it is celebrity night where artistes are celebrated. On Saturday and Sunday are reserved for Old school music for couples, families and friends. Some of the features include a special bar containing a restaurant, there is every the VIP and VVIP section Oloyede Mayowa Michael (a.k.a Mayor Michael) said that Side1 is a very good friend of mine for some years now.
I came here to celebrate with him and I am happy that the turnout was very encouraging as his friends came out en masse to support him. While Olusegun Odukoya (a.k.a Don Dream), a R&B artiste, disclosed he attended the event to show love to Side 1, who is a good artiste in his own rights. Trace Lounge and Bar is equipped with the state of the art sound system with an experienced Disc Jockey to dish out various genre of music to the delight of guests, The facilities are opened for individuals, corporate organizations, meetings, birthday and wedding parties, seminars, among other events. It has a nice ambience, serene environment security is a major concern and there is adequate security”, he noted.
