The camp was used to conduct training and carry out recent attacks, killings and bombings in Maiduguri, Musari, Konduga, Biu, Bama, and Damboa communities. Efforts by JTF troops to destroy the camps led to fierce exchange of fire that resulted in the death of seventeen (17) Boko Haram and one (1) JTF personnel was killed.

People lets pause and think. These beasts were caught in a Local Govt. Area, that suppose to have a Local Govt. Chairman with council councillor in charge of the Area, but non exist, because the Governors don’t want Local Govt. Authorities, but the concept is to take responsibility down the lane to the local ward level to enhance security network and information disseminated accordingly. Notice that with this formation nobody takes responsibility at that grass root level leaving great gaps. Let us support Effective Local Govt. system and Governors conduct free and fair Local Govt. Election in their States, and the Chairmen and councillors in their various localities will help monitor these Boko Haran, Kiddnappers and Arm robbers in their Local Areas. The Governors and Mr. president cannot play and same time be spectators and goal keepers. It’s worrisome that we have a system that our elders put in place to help, but these CORRUPT GOVERNORS AND PRESIDENT have bastardise it completely. ANAMBRA State a CASE STUDY AND THESE BORNO STATE to mention but few. Enough is Enough pls.

    Mumu pple

  33. Justice February 2, 2013 at 8:16 am

Good job JTF, but be well reminded that there are other hidden camps where these blood thirsty BH demons are restrategising for future attacks in the guise of declaring a ceasefire. Unfortunately, the mumu Borno state govt had already dolled out some funds as part of compensation/ cease fire agreemnt to the BH. And they (BH) are surely going to use this money to re-equip themselves, replenish runout stock and recruit new members. And so rather than allowing the BH to naturally fizzle out of existence due to shortage of funds and severe batterings from the soldiers, the Borno state govt are knowingly or unknowingly, helping to revive and sustain them in their terrorist war!

  34. benio February 2, 2013 at 8:32 am

Good will always prevail against evil. Let JTF intensify effort to completely annihilate these sons of evil. They had made life unbearable to some families, had constituted a clog in the wheel of progress of this administration and made Nigeria a terrorist nation. They deserve emergency visit to hell. All those BOKOS in detention should be killed. They should not be kept as a delay tactics to release them when new government steps in. Unfortunately, all facets of our judicial system is corrupt.GOD help us.

  35. akunne bonny February 2, 2013 at 8:48 am

No dialogue with a terrorist. No cease fire with a terrorist. Jtf should keep on killing them until boko is extinct.

  36. olu joseph February 2, 2013 at 9:28 am

But where is the other part of this story where an islamic group demands for 26bn naira compensation as part of conditions for a ceasefire?

  37. AGENDER February 2, 2013 at 9:43 am

Innocent Nigerians who died in the hands of evil Boko haram should not be swept under the carpet. JFT should keep up their seek and destroy missions until the evil sect is totally wiped out and their Nigerian sponsors exposed to the nation. Well done JFT.

  45. Bernji February 2, 2013 at 3:36 pm

That’s the way, no ceasefire, let’s fight on. Kodus to the kharki guys, R.I.P. departed bros

  46. Odogwu_Aganaga February 2, 2013 at 4:01 pm

boko haram is terrible, damnable and intolerable. it is unfortunate that their nefarious activities have given some blood-thirsty and trigger-happy ones in jtf a “good” excuse for what they love doing, i.e. reckless wasting of innocent people. who is sure the one jtf casualty was not caused by “friendly fire?”–a lingo for “killed-by-colleagues.” nothing nigerian can be trusted even when they vaunt their activities to the skies as one jonathan goodluck does.

  47. Toks February 2, 2013 at 4:11 pm

Jonathan, you should rather heavyly compensate the families of the departed JTF soldiers family than a penny to terrorist.Regards

  48. Emilistic February 2, 2013 at 4:43 pm

  51. edwin February 2, 2013 at 8:30 pm

I pray that this news will make everyone that believes that the federal government is not succeding or doing anything about the boko haram insurgence in nigeria to know that the goodluck jonathan’s administration is putting in the best and has been recording alot of success so far. Pls let us all support this administration and always provide the security operatives with the appropriate information on time, surely the insurgency of boko haram must be subdued. Peace forever!

  52. Dangana Daniel February 2, 2013 at 9:01 pm
