Bizman cautions govt, Nigerians on Boko Haram’s peace move

A man who escaped death by the whiskers during the April 8, 2012 bombing of a church at Kaduna, by terrorists has cautioned Nigerians not to believe the peace move by the group. The international businessman, Inetianbor Anslem, in a chat with Crimewatch said: “I saw the bombing where 38 persons died.

I escaped death by the whiskers.” Anslem said he was happy when he heard that some Southerners who live in the North were relocating back to their various places. “But with this olive branch being offered to the government by Boko Haram, they should not be accepted in a hurry so as not to be deceived. In his words: “I want to advise that Southerners should be very careful not to be deceived.

Watch well and be sure that peace has finally returned before going back or relaxing in the North.” He said report had it that over 3,000 people had lost their lives and property worth billions of naira destroyed. “As for me, I lost all I had but I thank God that I am alive today. Each time I remember what I lost and the number of people that have died, I weep for this country.” I am still traumatised by that attack I nearly lost my life.”

He warned that people should not be deceived to rush back to the Boko Haram prone areas as the peace move offered to the government may be a plot to lure people back and thereafter resume hostility. He called on the local government chairmen and state governors of the Southern states to prevail on their indigenes who were lucky to have relocated back not to go back to the troubled spots.

  10. Nigeria is in his conversion stage. This means when someone who have HIV is advancing to AIDS. What is happening in Nigeria now is what we call opportunistic infections. Nigeria is weak. The centre can no longer hold. The best thing is to divide the country/? If i may ask, how would u divide Nigeria?
Will the East and Niger-Delta be in one country? If no, where will the Border be?
The border problems we will face when Nigeria breaks up will be higher than what we are facing now.

Its a pity the igbos are still nursing the wound of the civil war, otherwise I know they still have the might to revolt! Who is not tired of the news coming from 9ja? abeg me too don tire! I dey ota dey rest!

  21. For me everyone has his own choice to make, but for the moment North is not the answer for any reasonable southerner, or returning back to the north, they have openly told southerners they don’t want you, so whoever is going back to North is like a deaf man going towards a moving train…

  22. IF THIS GOVERNMENT THINK WHAT SOLVED THE MENACE OF THE MILITANTS IN THE NIGER DELTA WILL ALSO WORK WITH BOKO HARAM THEY ARE MISTAKEN.ANYWAY,IF WITH ALL THE AUTHORITY VESTED WITH THE GOVT THAT IS THE ONLY VIABLE OPTION THEY CHOOSE,THE GOVT SHOULD BE PREPARED TO PAY A HEAVY COMPENSATIONS TO ALL THOSE THAT LOST LOVED ONES AND VALUABLES.BUT WITH ALL THE SECURITY VOTE THAT ALL THE STATES GOVRN HAS BEEN COLLECTING WHAT HAVE THE DONE WITH THOSE MONIES.IS IT FOR THEM TO BUY JET AND BE FLYING ABOUT WHILE THESE HOODLUMS THAT THEY FAILED TO TRAIN KILL INNOCENT PEOPLE?

  23. ii no wan marry na by force, mek dem allow ibos to go, negotiating wit cowards BH is a top agenda to exterminate d ibo race.. dis is a bitter truth

  24. Ha! Ha!! Ha!!! Funny talk. I’m pretty sure that some people are talking base of ignorance.I know for a fact that the Igbos will for ever remain in d North no matter what the situation and d reason is simple. Bcos there is hunger in the South East.Apart from Cassava, the Igbos don’t have anything. So d thing wey de pursue monkey into fire must be hotter than fire. Therefore, don’t waste your time indigbo in the North will prefer to be killed by Boko Haram than by hunger back home in the East.If what I say is a lie let any Igbo man prove me wrong by recalling d Igbos and see if they will respond. The north is blessed there is nothing any Igbo can do about that.

    • The Igbos are ready to travel any place because of the opportunity to buy – working hard in the process to feed their family. Although it may be true that some will go back it because of the simple logic that you make little or no profit when you sell to persons that are doing the same business you are doing. If you say they are running away because of hunger then you are one of the most ignorant persons about the situation in the east. For the information of persons who may have not known, the northern part of Nigeria is not the only place that opportunities abound to buy and sell outside the eastern region of Nigeria. The West Coast of Africa – Togo, Ghana, Benin Republic, Ivory Coast, Gambia, Senegal, Guinea Conackry and Guinea Bisau are some of the many other places in addition to many other African countries, that the Igbos have diversified their business drive to. In fact, the most travelled group of people in Nigeria is the Igbos because there is no part of the world that you would not find them as having the highest group of Nigerians. So, stop talking rubbish. There are better options outside northern Nigeria and they stand the chance of earning better valued currencies.

  26. pls. Someone tell that Mr. Kolanut that this forum is not a platform for advertisment, let him go and pay The Sun news paper for a good advert and stop interrupting our discussions, meanwhile, Gen. Buhari promised us on 17th may, 2011 in the hausa & arabic language that they will be BLOOD BATH party throughout GEJ tenure until he is made the presido. Peace talk with boko haram is like ”the fowl and its owner having a peace treaty behine the kitchen on 24th Dec. This guys are making a plan for a bigger & more terrible attack which nigerians will never forget throughout history. I’m advising Mr. President, the FG, the media, state govenors & all good meaning Nigerians not to yield to this pranks bcos it would be too easy, too cheap. Let GEJ tighten his stand like the Israelis & Americans & say NO. No negotiation with terrorist group. Can God or Allah negotiate with the devil ? somebody pls answer this question.

  27. Entrenched in the Muslim’s Hadith is a term called ‘tanquiyya’. This term simply permits any Muslim tpo tell lies or deceive people of their faith or people of other faith in order to end up beating them or over-coming them in the long run or (as they put it) gain a common good in the process.
No Muslim should be trusted at any time. Their present peace move is for them to recover from their losses and to buy to re-group, re-build and fill up their depleted armoury.
A grasshopper that is killed by a noisy bird is deaf, hard of hearing or purely stubborn and foolish.
