Ahmed wants Nigeria’s elite in partisan politics

Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara State yesterday, urged the elite to be actively involved in politics.The governor made the observation at the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN) Northern zonal accountants conference in Ilorin.


Anambra moves to enforce cities’ master plan

In order to maintain the master plan designed for cities in the state, Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano, has commenced the demolition of illegal buildings in the state. The governor ordered that some of the structures cited in unauthorised places in the 3-3 Area of Onitsha be pulled down, including illegal structures and perimeter fences built on government land close to the road.
