Lagos residents have been urged not to be swayed by activities of hate preachers even  as they have been enjoined to continue to live in peace and harmony without harbouring ethno-religious sentiments among themselves as well as divisive tendencies.

The call was made, weekend, by Chairman of Lagos State chapter of Cherubim & Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria, Snr. Supt. Apostle, Johnson Adagba during the induction of new executives of the chapter at the C&S Church of Christ ‘The Worshippers’, Iponri.

Adagba, who commended Governor Ambode’s effort at making the state a commercial hub in the sub-region, also called on religious leaders in the state to join hands with the state government to promote peace and oneness.

Said he, “We can all see the giant stride of Governor Ambode at making sure that Lagos is a no-go area for hate preachers who are hell bent on causing commotion in the country. But we as religious leaders should not allow these distractors to sway us from our goal which is to prepare the way pot the Lord for the salvation of the soul of mankind.
