it’s obvious that the thigh high slit isn’t going anywhere soon. It is dominating the red carpets!  Long legs are making statements in a classy way. This look has allowed many fashionistas the versatility of putting their best legs forward. It’s sexy, daring and not for the faint hearted.  Here’s how to rock it:

Pick a light fabric

If you are baring your legs, then you need a sleek and smooth fabric. You should avoid a heavy fabric like wool, crepe or jacquard, as they won’t allow free movement.  If you wear a light fabric there are chances that on some occasions a peek of your thighs will show. It’s better to choose a flowing lightweight skirt from satin or chiffon; it will cling to your body and at the same time let you move effortlessly.

Streamlined shoes are perfect

Your shoes will complete this look and making a wrong choice can be untidy. Chunky heels are a no go area for this look but   sleek, streamlined and lightweight shoes are much better. Go girls! Go for low profile sandals, sassy heels and you are good to go!

For that diva look, go pick a thin belt or a thick band of contrasting colour fabric. It will look wonderful on your outfit. A well-defined waist and a thigh slit are seductively divine.

Let your neckline be creative

Don’t just do a bland neckline, but instead opt for intriguing neckline that can easily blend with your thigh slit.  You can make a statement with a high cut neckline or a paneled coop neck. This will grab attention and make you look inches taller instantly.

Wear good underwear

No matter how high your slit is, always have good underwear down there. Preferably you should wear tights; it is safer that way and makes the look subtler. However, if your high slight is on both sides of your dress, then you can pair it with a pair of jeans or leggings.

Play with a subtle side slit

If you are a little conservative and can’t be as daring to have the super high slit, then go for subtly placed side slit which will give you as much drama as the front slit but in a more toned down way.
