Acting President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, will declare open  a 3-day exhibition/seminar on  construction and mining in Nigeria. The exhibition which holds between 13th and 15th of this month at the

International Conference Centre, Abuja, is being co-sponsored by Dangote Cement, Total Nigeria, Africa Finance Corporation and Stanbic Bank among others.

The organisers said the exhihition/seminar is being organised towards the goal of advancing mining not just in Nigeria but across the West African region.

It will also afford mining and construction companies in the country to exhibit their products and services.

During the exhibition, the Federation of Construction Industry (FOCI) will be hosting a construction conference with the theme:“Sustainability of the Construction Industry in Nigeria”.

The seminar session  which will be free of charge, will be handled by  key members and experts of the Federation, discussing topics like,  financing projects, skilled manpower,  environmental sustainability among others.

Technical sessions will also be  held by representatives of Dangote Industries, Soetec Engineering, Total, CAT Nigeria and Boustani Nigeria.

MInisters from other African countries are also expected

as well as investors in  mining, construction, geologists and other stakeholders from around the world to learn and network,

Designed in partnership with Deloitte Consulting and the Ministry of Mines and Solid Minerals Development, the exhibition is expected to be first of its kind in West Africa.
