The Caretaker Committee Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Imo State, Dr. David Iwuagwu, said Peter Ezeobi whose state executive committee was dissolved has no locus to speak for the state party.
He said in the last few days, leadership of the party has changed hands both at the national and state levels.
Iwuagwu  stated this yesterday in Owerri, Imo State capital  while reacting to a statement credited to the former state chairman of the party that Ike Oye Victor and not Chief Martins Agbaso remains the national chairman of the party.
He noted that Ezeobi poke out of ignorance as a court of competent jurisdiction had pronounced him the authentic national chairman and had also ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to recognise him as such.  He said the court also issued an injunction restraining anybody parading himself as the national chairman of the party.
“Peter Ezeobi’s state executive committee has been dissolved and therefore, he has no locus to speak for the state party to the effect that members of the party have disowned Chief Agbaso as the national chairman when a competent court of jurisdiction has so pronounced.
“If Ezeobi is still a member of the party as he claimed, he would have known that Chief Agbaso has returned to the party officially after the PDP gubernatorial primaries before the 2015 general election.
