Moghalu had visited Ajali, Awgbu and Nanka communities in Orumba North Council Area of the state.

He maintained that politicians at election time told all sorts of lies and made all manner of promises only  to renege when they got to office. He told the supporters that they could accept money or any other gratification from the governorship contenders but should never sell their conscience.

On the expression of interest of many aspirants to be the flagbearer of the APC in the forthcoming governorship election, Moghalu said that he and other Igbo, who joined the APC were formerly being tagged Boko Haram people, adding that those same people that castigated them had rushed to the party to use it as a platform because they know that the APC would win the governorship election.

All I have to tell the electorate is not to vote based on sentiment. After the primary, we will go for the main election and we will win it, too. I’m confident about that. We will make no mistakes in electing a candidate as the APC flag bearer. We need someone who has no blemish. I have all it takes to win the governorship election,” the APC chieftain said.
