A woman narrowly escaped death as a two-storey building collapsed on Cole Street, Ebute Metta Lagos yesterday.
The incident occurred barely three days after a three-storey building collapsed in Ilasamaja area of the state.
The building was under renovation when it collapsed during the downpour in most parts of the state early yesterday.
National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, who spoke through its spokesman, Ibrahim Farinloye confirmed the building collapse, saying it was under renovation.
He added that a person, who was rescued alive, suffered injuries and was responding to treatment.
Before the Ilasamaja building collapse, which killed three people with 19 others sustaining injuries, a two-storey building under construction also collapsed in Lekki area of Lagos, killing two people and injuring several others.
