Former Director General, National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), Aminu Jalal, has handed over to Director, Planning and Strategy, Manudu Luqman, pending the arrival of his successor, Jelani Aliyu, from the United States of America.

Jalal who had served two terms of five years each disclosed that he decided to hand over to the most senior director before the arrival of the General Motors, USA designer Aliyu, because “there cannot be two substantive director generals at the same time in an outfit.”

The appointment of Aliyu by President Muhammadu Buhari is coming at a time when the Federal Government banned importation of vehicles through the land borders but only through the sea ports.
