Senate President, Bukola Saraki, Speaker Yakubu Dogara and Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu have congratulated acting President, Yemi Osinbajo on his 60th birthday.
Saraki, in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Yusuph Olaniyonu, in Abuja, wished Osinbajo good health, wisdom and enduring grace to serve the nation and humanity.
On his part, Dogara commended Osinbajo for demonstrating exceptional capacity, humility and patriotism in leading the country in the past few weeks.
“Since your emergence as the vice president and chairman of the country’s economic council, you have not left any one in doubt as to your capacity to handle matters of national interest, development and progress,” Dogara said.
Similarly, Ekweremadu extolled Osinbajo on his leadership qualities and achievements. He described him as an erudite scholar with humble dispositions.
“I congratulate Prof. Osibanjo on this landmark birthday and commend him for the leadership qualities exhibited as Nigeria’s vice president and, so far, as acting president.
