Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong, has vowed not to spare anyone indicted by a probe panel set up to investigate the administration of his predecessor, Senator Jonah David Jang.

Lalong stated this yesterday, when the Muslim Ummah in the state paid him the traditional Eid-el- Kabir homage at the Government House, Rayfield, in the capital, Jos.

“We must continue to support the War Against Corruption, even as we make efforts to recover all that have been looted by those who plundered our commonwealth.

“I will not spare anyone indicted by the probe panel set up by my administration. Anybody who has taken public funds in a wrongful way must return it.

“I will not fail to mention that, as a nation, we are going through some very hard and trying moments.

“These challenges, which have been occasioned by our trying economic experiences are redeemable, and with the purpose driven governance approach of Mr. President and the All Progressives Congress-led government, we are making headway and we would soon be getting out of the woods.”

He urged Nigerians to be committed to a peaceful and progressive Nigeria, and to always, “stand up in open condemnation of all forms of hate and divisive speeches that have the treasonable potential to destabilise the country and set the people against each other.

Lalong applauded Muslim faithful and Nigerians for praying fervently for the recovery of President Muhammadu Buhari and urged them to sustain the prayer for the economic recovery and a successful  war against corruption in the country.
