The Resident Pastor of Living Faith Church, Osogbo, Mr Dapo Olumuyiwa, has called on Nigerians to continue to pray for the unity and progress of the nation.

Olumuyiwa made the call in his sermon at the Church service in Osogbo on Sunday.

The Cleric, who read from Luke 11 verse 17, said those who were clamouring for the division of the country should have a change of mind.

‘‘Our differences are our beauty and that is why we must continue to be united because this nation will not fall.

‘‘If you know the effects of war, you will appreciate the value of peace,’’ he said.

Olumuyiwa also advised Nigerians to pray fervently for stability, to ward off bad intentions of people who were planning to cause problems for the nation.

‘‘What is happening in the country is spiritual. Satan wants to attack the nation and that is why we have to pray,’’ he said.

The cleric said those who wanted to shed the blood of innocent Nigerians for their selfish gains would not succeed. (NAN)
