The Federal Government and other levels of government have been urged to act urgently on climate change forecasts to avoid worse flooding in the country in future. The Osun State Chapter of the Nigeria Inter-Religious Council (NIREC) made the call in a seven-point communiqué issued at the end of its October meeting.
