There is nothing to hide. The statements he has made are the very reasons the whole community is against him as their king. It is not I. I live in Lagos. His being a king is of no consequence to me. He doesn’t feed me. I don’t have anything that I gain from his being a king. I have done more for him in life than he can ever do for me, but what a king must never do is to lie. To say that I met him because of election is a bogus lie.

President Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday visited camps where flood victims are taking refuge in Kogi State, and urged them to endure the temporary discomfort which he said “will soon be over” He visited the victims of the flood at the Dankolo primary school relief camp in Lokoja city after an aerial inspection of the flood areas with Helicopter.

Kabo aircraft, conveying Nigerian pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia had to make a forced landing in Sudan capital, Khartoum, Wednesday, over its airworthiness. The aircraft, with registration number N9-1143, was conveying pilgrims from Kaduna State but denied landing by the authorities of the King Abdul-Aziz International Airport, Jeddah due to communication lapses as regards its condition.


Owerri There was palpable fear at the weekend in Owerri, the Imo State capital, following the visit of operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to the state to probe activities of the previous and present administrations in the state as regards the awards of contract and the management of government finances.
