Armed robbers yesterday invaded a new generation bank located along Ajilosun Street in Ado-Ekiti the state capital. Residents living around the area disclosed that the robbers invaded the bank around 2 a.m. and gained entry through a window at the back of the banking hall after removing the burglar proof on the window

Nigeria’s Under-20 Coach, John Obuh, was the happiest man yesterday as his team qualified for next year’s AYC after it defeated South Africa 3-1 to advance 4-2 on aggregate. Highly elated Obuh commended the resilience of the South Africans.

National court-order

In recent weeks, there have been strident calls on the Federal Government to appeal the October 9, 2002 ruling of the Interna-tional Court of Justice (ICJ) that ceded the disputed oil-rich Ba-kassi Peninsular to Cameroon. Their reason for a revisit of the case is hinged on the fact that the handling of the matter was very untidy and unconstitutional.
