Barring any last-minute change of plan, the National Business and Technical Examination Board (NABTEB) will release the results of its examinations conducted in November/December 2016 before the week runs out.

According to the board, the results would be uploaded on the NABTEB website for easy access by all candidate, irrespective of location, thus candidates who sat for the exams could visit the website to check their results.

NABTEB Registrar, Prof. Ifeoma Isiugo-Abanihe, who disclosed this to Daily Sun yesterday, declined further information about the performance of the candidates.

As regards the 2017 examinations, she said processes have been put in motion for a successful June/July 2017 examinations exercise, adding that systems have been strengthened through innovations that were recently introduced, which would boost efficiency and credibility.

In January, NABTEB and other examination bodies in Nigeria held a meeting at the headquarters of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Examination (JAMB) in Abuja to harmonise the timetable for the respective examinations, to avoid clash of dates.

The meeting was also to proffer solutions to challenges faced by candidates in the course of their desire for tertiary education.

At the end of the meeting, a committee was set up to appraise the mandates of the three examination bodies, West African Examination Council, National Examination Council and NABTEB, to ensure that each sticks to its original mandate.
