The Football Association is set to investigate comments made by Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho as he walked along the touchline after the 3-2 win over Newcastle.

Mourinho went into Saturday evening’s match under huge pressure, with senior United sources shooting down reports emanating on Friday night that the manager would be sacked at the weekend regardless of the result.
