A 42-year-old man, Friday Buoro, was on Tuesday arraigned in a Gudu Upper Area Court, Abuja, for alleged attempt to commit an offence.
The defendant, a resident of Nasarawa State, was docked on a count charge of attempt to commit an offence.
The prosecutor, Donaldtus Abbah, told the court that Omole Victor, a security man attached to Jaiz Bank, Central Business District, Abuja, ‎reported the matter at the Central Police Station, Abuja, on Aug.2.
He said the defendant trespassed into the said bank, met the complainant who was on duty, and asked him to help him gain access into an office.
The prosecutor added that the defendant wanted to have access to computers in the office and promised to give the complainant money if he helped him.

He said that the complainant refused, while the offence contravened Section 95 of the Penal Code.
The defendant denied committing the offence, while the judge, Alhaji Umar Kagarko, granted him bail in the sum of N30, 000 with one surety in like sum.
