The six-week Wine, Spirits and Beer Festival 2017 organised by SPAR Nigeria came to a remarkable conclusion with shoppers treated to concerts in selected cities, namely Enugu, Calabar, Port Harcourt and Lagos.
The event featured some of Nigerias favourite artistes who performed for the publics delight.
SPAR, the organizers, partnered with major spirits and beer brands, such as Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Campari, Guinness and Nigerian Breweries as anchor brands the concerts.
While Smirnoff anchored the concerts in Enugu and Calabar which featured artistes like DJ Spinall, Illbliss, Zoro, Slowdogs and MI, the Port Harcourt concert (where the likes of Tuface Idibia, Duncan Mighty, DJ Jimmy Jatt, Kelly Handsome and Harrysong performed) was co-hosted by Campari.
The Lekki concert, themed Beats Bottles Brilliance and co-sponsored by Johnnie Walker and Guinness, was headlined by Street Credibility singer, 9ice alongside other crowd-pullers such as DJ Lambo, Hype Man, and DJ Ozone.
Guests gained entry to the concerts by purchasing specific brands of spirits and beer from SPAR stores during the six-week-long festival. Entry passes were also awarded to winners of online contests on the various participating brands.
Those who turned up at the venues had access to exotic cocktails and drinks by anchor brands, they were also treated to rib-cracking comedy, in addition to the scintillating performances staged by the artistes.
SPAR and the other major sponsors of the concerts were delighted at the turnout and profound patronage by shoppers throughout the festival agreed. They expressed satisfaction about the effectiveness of their collaboration and hinted at many of such festivals in the future.
